If you look close enough, it kinda looks like a line of telephone poles way back there and a rusted out '38 Ford. And is that the Vegas lights glowing on the horizon?.....

I saw that in the new Transformers movie. We need to retrieve those pillars before those ruthless Decepticons get them.

Reminds me of an old TWILIGHT ZONE script where astronauts crash land on a remote planet’s desert.

Title: Lost 1967 spacecraft FOUND CRASHED ON MOON
Last line of story: It's not yet certain that this marks the last resting place of the greatest robot photographer of the last century, but the LRO scientists are working on confirmation.

I read a bad sci-fi book years ago where some astronauts found a crashed Nazi spaceship on the moon. Maybe it really happened!

"Reminds me of an old TWILIGHT ZONE script where astronauts crash land on a remote planets desert."The one where the astronaut lays dying and draws the strange "symbol" in the sand with his finger? ;-)

I Shot an Arrow into the Air That symbol the guy scratched out had me going - I thought it was the Cross of Lorraine and wondered what the French were doing there.
