Worse than the political fall-out, we already know his ideas are bankrupt, will be the revelation that he was not worthy of being liked. Things like "he is destroying our economy INTENTIONALLY" now become quite believable to the masses, instead of just being a marginal conservative opinion. He wanted something “big.” He wants to look like the savior of the country.
The narcissism is now harming the country and is being demonstrated as full bore insanity.

Only if the people and banks believe that. They don't. Our economy is stuck on "Lets pretend", and making real cuts would expose just how messed up the game is. Rather than do that, they will keep playing till it all falls apart.
The GOP didn't play this very well, and the NEED a psychiatrist on staff to help them predict how Obama will react. If he has narcissistic disorder, this is going to end very badly.

People need to stop bashing Boehner for a sec and look at the bigger picture.
1. Tax hikes are not on the table.
2. Obama looks likea disagreeable craven fool if this bill is put on his desk. He will have to sign after saying no.
3. We fight to make the Reid plan more acceptable with real cuts. There is a simple way - insist on letting GOP specify 50% of the cuts.
4. More spending cuts to come in FY 2012 fight if the cut arent enough.
Incorrect. The State Run Media will make sure the GOP is to blame.
If Obama went on a presser, and stated "The GOP has NO hand in the default. It is my fault. I am the cause and the fault of the debt crisis.", the media would report: "Obama: "The GOP ... is.. the cause and the fault of the debt crisis."
Default is not paying interest on our debt.
