You go right ahead and do the dirty work of the Democrats, if it makes you feel good.

...

If wanting the best of candidates is "the dirty work of the Democrats" then all is lost as conservatives have put their hopes in a paper tiger...

As an CONSERVATIVE (not a Republican Bootlicker) I want a battle-tested, time honored, rock ribbed conservative candidate that is able to withstand everything the liberals and their lackey press can throw at them and not succumb.

And unfortunately Palin was tested and found to be wanting...

Her misquotes, gaffs and poor choice of words never bothered me as most of that was just fog whiffed up and exaggerated by an hostile press. But forsaking an oath of office she swore by is too big an obstacle for me and alot of others to overlook.

And yet you toss the most battle tested, rock ribbed conservative in our camp to the curb, because you refuse to understand the reasoning behind her resignation.

Spare me any more of your logic.

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Alaska, and that I will faithfully discharge my duties as . . . to the best of my ability."

Given the situation,
a deluge of frivolous ethics complaints,
designed to render her ineffective in carrying out her duties,
how exactly did she "forsake" (renounce, abandon) her oath of office?
