More White Voters Shift to GOP Under Obama

The Republican Party has made big gains among white voters since President Obama was elected in 2008, but not among any other racial or ethnic group, according to a new Pew Research poll.
More than half of all white voters (52 percent) now identify themselves as Republicans, compared with 39 percent who are Democrats. That 13-percentage-point lead is significantly higher than three years ago, when 46 percent of white voters were Republicans, compared to 44 percent of Democrats.
At the same time, the Democratic Party’s dominance among black and Hispanic voters continues. Eighty-six percent of black voters and 64 percent of Hispanics are aligned with Democrats, compared to 8 percent of blacks and 22 percent of Hispanics for Republicans. In 2008, 88 percent of blacks and 66 percent of Hispanics voted Democratic, and 6 percent of blacks and 28 percent of Hispanics for Republicans.
The GOP gains among white voters was most pronounced among the young and the poor, the poll found. Republicans now hold an 11-point lead over Democrats among whites under age 30 (52 percent to 41 percent). Three years ago, Democrats held a seven-point lead at 49 percent to 42 percent. Among low-income voters – families with incomes less than $30,000 -- Republicans have a four-point lead, erasing the 15-point advantage Democrats had in 2008.

Half of all voters are below average. Some days it seems like 90%.
It seems like the media template is always along the lines of “What’s the matter with whites that they’re abandoning 0bama?” when the real question is “Why are blacks so racist that they’ll blindly keep supporting 0bama even after he’s caused massive destruction and division within our country?”
I’d like to see conservatives on the various Sunday shows start turning the questioning around on the hosts and bringing up the flip side questions about the racists that will support the Kenyan usurper no matter what.
The good news is that Palin’s pronouncement that he’s a lame duck will probably get echoed by many and his reerlection chances will go from slim to none, especially since we’ll all be looking for (and catching) the inevitable democrat fraud on election day next year.

Don’t worry about it; they’ve been quarantined on their urban reservations.
One high-profile racial incident would cost Obama his job (if the unemployment and unreported inflation don’t); it would not have the effect of the Madrid bombings. Voting against Obama goes a long way to removing a black racist from their TVs/newspaper headlines.

A serious racial incident would be spinned by the media as a result of GOP making too deep of cuts into entitlement programs which is disfranchising blacks and minorities. In other words they are racist

Is it really worth going back the sixties and watching cities burn because blacks are being treated unfairly by a recalcitrant Congress throwing the burden on the poorest of the poor while the billionaires are secure in their walled secure mansions ?

Since Reverend Wright, Indonesian Citizenship, unknown education status, communist dogma, were not on CNN or in the MSM newspaper, they didn’t know. Same is true of every other manner of corruption (up to and including bringing in millions of illegals)committed by him and his minions. How many sheeple/people know that his oil policy prevents economic recovery? How many of us even know?

More TAXPAYERS shift to GOP under Obama. The rolls of taxpayers are mainly white (Asians just aren't a big enough US population). So, wrong conclusion, buckko!
This is the makers vs. the takers. The rolls of the takers are heavily minority and they support Obama to keep the "Obama cash" coming. The rolls of the producers are largely white. Hence...
Taxpayers, working and temporarily unemployed, being mainly white, shift to GOP under Obama. Why not? They are getting creamed by his socialist wealth-distributing administration.

The problem for urban blacks is that white conservatives ignore them (they are votes that will never materialize) while white liberals are actively seeking to abort them into extinction; large-scale misbehaving has driven those groups more deeply into those positions.
Nobody even pretends that they matter anymore, or that they have to be dealt with; instead Hispanics are just being imported to make them disappear.
Obama has been steadily alienating people since he was sworn in. This shouldn’t be surprising - the trend has been working against Obama from the get-go.
