(Reuters) - The Norwegian man detained after twin attacks in Norway on Friday that killed at least 17 people has links to right-wing extremism

Right, and so was the guy who flew his small plane into an IRS building in TX -- for about 24hrs.
The MSM were gleeful at first - thought they had him pegged as a right-winger. A closer look at his writings proved he was more to the Left than the Right. The MSM suddenly lost interest.
Wet, runny, bovine excrement.
... independent Norwegian television TV2 reported on Saturday, without disclosing its sources.
The source is probably Facebook. The page there is phony as Obama's social security number.
Getting very smug over the Leftwing media's "Timothy McVeigh" angle on this? Maybe you should first deal with what even Clinton's anti-terror csar had to admit about the Oklahoma City Bombing and al Qaeda:
Another conspiracy theory intrigued me because I could never disprove it. The theory seemed unlikely on its face: Ramzi Yousef or Khalid Sheik Muhammad had taught Terry Nichols how to blow up the Oklahoma Federal Building. The problem was that, upon investigation, we established that both Ramzi Yousef and Nichols had been in the city of Cebu on the same days. I had been to Cebu years earlier; it is on an island in the central Philippines. It was a town in which word could have spread that a local girl was bringing her American boy friend home and that the American hated the U.S. government.
Yousef and Khalid Sheik Muhammad had gone there to help create an al Qaeda spinoff, a Philippine affiliate chapter, named after a hero of the Afghan war against the Soviets, Abu Sayaff. Could the al Qaeda explosives expert have been introduced to the angry American who proclaimed his hatred for the U.S. Government? We do not know, despite some FBI investigation. We do know that Nichols bombs did not work before his Philippine stay and were deadly when he returned. We also know that Nichols continued to call Cebu long after his wife returned to the United States. The final coincidence is that several al Qaeda operatives had attended a radical Islamic conference a few years earlier in, of all places, Oklahoma City.
-Richard Clarke (Clinton's anti-terror czar) Against All Enemies, p. 127 (LINK) ]
Put that together with the fact that multiple witnesses who saw McVeigh in Oklahoma City before the bombing saw him with a hispanic {middle-east?} looking man who was not Nichols(John Doe 2/"the 3rd terrorist").
I’m a chowing down on that crow, meself.
Backlash ... as I posted earlier on another thread... Let’s see if this guy so hated Muslims and the PC Diversity at all cost pushed by the government of Norway that he avenged the rapes and murders and cultural destruction brought to Norway by Islamic imports...
Conservatives in Norway are further to the left than American Democrats are. Most people on this forum would be stunned to learn that conservatives in Europe support things like government healthcare, for example.
This Breivik person has posted against multiculturalism and marxism for a long period of time (and appeared mostly coherent) so it’s probably for real...
The leftists will no doubt use this for political purposes, but he does seem like a nut from our side. And through his actions he has done as much damage to Norway as Quisling once did. May he burn in hell...
Not only will very few eat the crow... most will go way off into never never land and fall back on the ITZ A CONSPIWACY!1!1 card in a desperate attempt to save face. Its an age old internet technique.
Yes, remember that first 24 hrs? The networks, cnn, msnbc, Hufpo and especially reuters and ap - all had him pegged as a right wing nutcase. Oh, he's a lefty? . .What? . . then they focused on he's just nuts. . oh and btw, could we safely say Obama is a national socialist? He's the head of this nation and does anyone doubt he's at least a socialist. Hmmmm, let's see, who was that other guy who was a national socialist? . .
Sources state he has been a contributor to the “Jihad Watch” and “Gates of Vienna” websites, and hosted one himself.
Since he’s been captured alive, probably by tomorrow we’ll know his motives in full detail.
I noticed that too. What it means, I can only guess.
In my town, it would mean you're probably a Baptist. I doubt the Norwegian guy is a Baptist.
Perhaps... Even if he suddenly went mad or converted to islam I’m sure the media will call him a right-winger... The Norwegian media and police have such close ties to the labour party that anything else is unthinkable.
The labour party and mostly the other political parties are modern day aristocracies. If you look at the names of leading politicians you will see an awful lot of the same family names popping up over the decades. -Sons and daughters following their parents. Cousins and laid-off politicians getting choice positions in the media, police and bureaucracy...
Grooming these children -’broilers’ as we call them is the main function of the youth wings of the political parties. And at camps like the one that was attacked they are trained in becoming good politicians and indoctrinated in the ‘proper’ beliefs.
I’m thinking false flag. He expected to die. Blamed on Muslims, provokes a backlash.
If I have to eat crow, I will unhappily do so but something about this does not pass the smell test. If this guy was really a Right Wing Conservative, he would probably have gone after Somalians who are raping Norwegian girls by the bus load. Not some group of kids from a party he may disagree with.
Either the press is misidentifying him or it is a set up to fool people.
As I said it just doesn’t seem to match what a true conservative would do.
Many on this thread have noted that “right wing” in Europe does not mean the same as it does in the US.
A true conservative? Of course not.
But there is a certain sick logic to what he did. By striking at the labour party and government he was probably hoping for the same effect that the muslims have achieved. -Fear.
The muslims have trained our leaders and media to not do some things and do other things by the threat of lethal force if they upset the muslims. By killing people he was no doubt hoping that politicians would start to be equally submissive towards his cause.
The guy is evil and stupid. And his actions were counterproductive. But there is an evil kind of logic behind them...
Or maybe he just hated the labour party for what they have done to our country, much like people hated Quisling... Also possible...
Frightfully it does make sense that he would commit an act of terror.
He stared into the abyss for too long and adopted the thinking and methods of the enemy.
You haven’t read his posts. From what I’ve seen he would not particularly stand out on freerepublic.
I have not read them. Can you point me to them?
I do not doubt he would not stand out here.
Thought now going through my mind.
False flag operation. I don’t know whether he intended to get away or not, but given the MO, people would’ve blamed it on Muslims.
The backlash would’ve been enormous.
Now, IF this is true, and the perp’s a conservative, the only backlash is going to be against conservatives in Norway.
