I guess the American public are a "cult fringe" eh Comrade Tom?? Poll after poll shows majorities want no tax increases. Those wanting them are the minority, the true cult fringe. Sorry, but the GOP isn't falling for it this time--or they better not--raising taxes like the tax obsessed Marxist left is obsessed with in return for spending cuts that will never happen. Come on Iowa, wise up and get rid of this Marxist clown. A sorry old Marxist hack like this calling anyone part of a fringe would be like Casey Anthony calling someone a bad mother.

“Democrats are willing to do whatever is necessary to raise the debt ceiling, so we can spend more of someone else’s money.”

There, fixed it.

Every Democrat senator voted against raising the debt limit in 2006. Hussein's buttboy Harkin just admitted he and Hussein are a CULT!

Wow, they really throw a fit when they can't steal more money. Get down right nasty even. Seems to me they are addicted to OPM (other peoples money) and have withdrawal pains.

How the heck do you pay a debt by getting more credit cards? This guy must be on crack.

I am certain he was referring to Obama and his little fascist Czars as the cult fringe that is wrecking everything. He mispoke when he blamed the Americans.

More commie projection by Harkin. His party has run up the majority of the debt over the past several decades. The GOP can get some blame, of course, but gthe Democrats have been far more irresponsible with their spending. How come we aren't seeing quotes from anyone in the GOP (other than the "Gang of Six" idiots)?

Can we declare war on this nasty SOB already?! He's been a piss and vinegar liberal for years; truly a nasty partisan. How is he still in office?!

Was Harkin wearing a crack pot on his head when he said this or was it a basket case?

On Mark Levin's show, Jeff Sessions (R-AL) claims Reid plans to hold a vote on Cut, Cap & Balance on Saturday.

He thinks all Republicans will vote for it but not even 1 Democrat will vote for it.

Says "Gang of Six" is at best 1 to 1, cut to tax hike according to the handout he was given.

Harkin is an old-line communist sympathizer, starting with his Con Son Island fraud, his Vietnam Vet status fraud, and his help for the marxist dictatorship in Nicaragua during the 1980’s.

If there is a “fringe” and “cult” around, it is the marxist one that he belongs to. His records tells the truth. His mouth tells lies and spouts disinformation.

As you said MissesBush, “Comrade Tom” is “obsessed”. I call it mentally ill. He needs a straightjacket ASAP.

I don't know when Harkin runs next, but he'll either not run...or be soundly defeated.

He sounds like a retard person on drugs...out in front of WalMart.

“”Which, mostly was racked up by a Republican House, a Republican Senate and a Republican President in the last 8 years.””

Well Tom, I will accept the part about the Republican President, but if memory serves, the Democrats were in charge of the House after the elections in 2006 until the election in 2010, and in the SENATE, Senator...the Democrats took over in 2006 as well, and STILL ARE IN CHARGE!!

Good Lord,
please,
give us strength.

Harkin has been swilling at the taxpayers' trough for 36 freepin' years. He's not up for re-election till 2014. He has a safe Rep. district.

The only remedy for this type of malaise-in-office is to elect two conservative senators from some place unexpected (like two blue states) to neutralize his votes.

Sounds disheartening, but there's nothing else anyone can do with entrenched, beltway, elite members of the U.S. House of Lords who have 6 years to wreak their havoc.

The debate and fight is not between Democrats and Republicans. It's between some Republicans and their sort of cult fringe as I refer to them out there," Harkin said.

Better a cult-fringe of fiscal responsibility, patrotism, and social conservativism, then YOUR cult frings of Communism, death-worship, and embrace of our bitterest enemies.

"Democrats are willing to do whatever is necessary to raise the debt ceiling, not for future borrowing but to pay the debts that we racked up in the past. Which, mostly was racked up by a Republican House, a Republican Senate and a Republican President in the last 8 years. Yet, they're not willing to pay the bills," Harkin said.

Looks like Harkin Democrated the truth again. (I now use the word Democrat, as a verb. Ex: "Clinton Democrated about Lewinsky.")
