WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama and a startling number of Republican senators lauded a bipartisan deficit-reduction plan Tuesday that includes $1 trillion in higher taxes, raising hopes of a last-minute compromise to repair the nation's finances while averting a government default. Wall Street saluted as well.
Obama said he hoped congressional leaders would "start talking turkey" as soon as Wednesday along the lines of the Senate "Gang of Six" proposal, which quickly overshadowed a no-tax-increase alternative that conservatives spent Tuesday pushing toward an evening vote in the House.

I will be looking to vote for any credible Tea Party minded candidate running for ANYTHING. Period.

Of course, you are correcto. Anyone who follows politics closely could see this coming for weeks. The GOP leadership has been read the riot act by Wall St. and are terrified about the consequences, real or imagined, of a default. And Obama, calling a press conference seemingly every 20 minutes, has completely flipped the polls his way. All their posturing has been a big act. The GOP always, repeat always, folds in the end. Their vote today was a hollow, feel good victory. Boehner threw a bone to the true believers. It will go no further.

Obama backs the only plan that effects CURRENT Social Security recipients.
Without COLA increases combined with the amount of future inflation that the FED has been creating what they really are fixing to do is “reverse the value of social security payments”.
The FED is responsible for all of the inflation since its creation in 1913. Please read Griffin's - Creature from Jekyll Island (it explains how the FED is ripping us off by transferring the value of our personal wealth to the banking cartel knowingly by creating inflation). You'll want to punch the wall and a few other things...
