If there were true justice in this world, Reid would be spending lots of time in court houses ... as the defendant.

“I’ve been to a few court houses,” Reid said”

“That’s a bunch of garbage.” ... Well, that’s a very intellectual argument to get your point across, Harry.

Were you a trial lawyer before you became a crooked politician? And if so, did you use that argument in court?

"Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) described the argument by Sarah Palin and other conservatives that Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnell’s backup debt plan is unconstitutional as "a bunch of garbage."

Translation. "I know it's unconstitutional, dammit, It just pisses me off that now everyone else will know it and we can't use it to say the Republicans are divided."

Only a moron could read the 10th Amendment, then Article I, Section 8 to find the delegated powers,

and say he doesn’t understand the main thrust of the Constitution.

It’s not that he’s an idiot. He’s dishonest. The Constitution simply stands in the way of what they’d like to do, and that is its whole purpose.

He wouldn’t be offering this opinion if he hadn’t been asked about it, and he probably wouldn’t have been asked about it if Palin hadn’t said it.

I have some comments for Reid, but unfortunately they run afoul of FR’s anti-obsenity rules.

Did he really say “more clearer than that?”

Wow! Oh well, what do I know? I’m just a dumb homeschoolin’ mom without a fancy Ivy League degree - course I’ve managed to live within a budget for my entire life without any help from the Gub’mint!

Oh, and yes, I do “bitterly” cling to my guns and my religion! : )

Harry, Article I, section states: the congress shall have power to borrow money on the credit of the United States.

It does not say the president shall have the power to borrow money as long as the Congress doesn’t object.

"I don’t know how to say it more clearer than that."

Yes you do, Reid. Just be honest and say it.

"I don't care if it's unconstitutional. We will do what we damn well please. So, shut the hell up."

That is clearly what you mean.

Hopefully those in the tea party will help to make Reid the ex-Senate majority leader this next go around.

I hereby make a $50 pledge to anyone, including a Right-wing ham sandwich, who will run against McConnell in the primary.

Anyone with me?
