Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) described the argument by Sarah Palin and other conservatives that Republican Senate Leader Mitch McConnells backup debt plan is unconstitutional as "a bunch of garbage."
Ive been to a few court houses, Reid said at a news conference on Thursday. Those in the tea party seem to think they have an all knowing wisdom about the Constitution. In short, thats a bunch of garbage. I dont know how to say it more clearer than that.

If there were true justice in this world, Reid would be spending lots of time in court houses ... as the defendant.

If justice ruled in this country, it would have been in leg chains, Dingy Wimp.
“That’s a bunch of garbage.” ... Well, that’s a very intellectual argument to get your point across, Harry.
Were you a trial lawyer before you became a crooked politician? And if so, did you use that argument in court?
Translation. "I know it's unconstitutional, dammit, It just pisses me off that now everyone else will know it and we can't use it to say the Republicans are divided."
Go f yourself, you dirty Commie mob lawyer.
Reid wouldn’t recognize garbage if he saw it....
Only a moron could read the 10th Amendment, then Article I, Section 8 to find the delegated powers,
and say he doesn’t understand the main thrust of the Constitution.
It’s not that he’s an idiot. He’s dishonest. The Constitution simply stands in the way of what they’d like to do, and that is its whole purpose.
Garbage talk from a garbage mouth!!!
Yes, and Obama's a constitutional law prof. *snicker*
How I wish Bob Dornan was still in the US congress. He called the liberasls out for exactly what they were/are.
This coming from an idiot and corrupt ‘career’ politician that has to resort to thuggery to get his property taxes reduced because of who he is? lulz, riiiight. Frak off, Reid, kkthxbuhbye. =.=
He wouldn’t be offering this opinion if he hadn’t been asked about it, and he probably wouldn’t have been asked about it if Palin hadn’t said it.
Unfortunately, no one will challenge Harry and ask
“exactly what did she get wrong? reference the appropriate article and section or amendment, please.”
PING!
..except when he looks in a mirror.
Did he really say “more clearer than that?”
Wow! Oh well, what do I know? I’m just a dumb homeschoolin’ mom without a fancy Ivy League degree - course I’ve managed to live within a budget for my entire life without any help from the Gub’mint!
Oh, and yes, I do “bitterly” cling to my guns and my religion! : )
Harry, Article I, section states: the congress shall have power to borrow money on the credit of the United States.
It does not say the president shall have the power to borrow money as long as the Congress doesn’t object.
but then he’d have to make it “more clearer”
