Margin marks first statistically significant lead among registered voters

by Jeffrey M. Jones

PRINCETON, NJ -- Registered voters by a significant margin now say they are more likely to vote for the "Republican Party's candidate for president" than for President Barack Obama in the 2012 election, 47% to 39%. Preferences had been fairly evenly divided this year in this test of Obama's re-election prospects.

Somebody please have a BUDGET!

I do not like the fact that our R people are even participating in this stupid game.

Somebody needs to be the adult here!

The excuse that OUR guy’s hands were tied by the last congress is over. It is as lame as “BUSH’s fault”, now.

Yep, they’ll double down on trying to get at least one of Backmann’s foster children to say she abused them because she pointed her finger at him/her. I wonder how much it wil cost the Marxists to get at least one of these people to “rat” Bachmann out.

By the way my go to choice for conservative ticket is Palin.
Veep would be either Cain or West.

The good thing with Palin is the Marxists have had their best shot at Palin. They came up empty. Allthe rest of ‘s the conservative field has yet to enjoy the demrat’s politics of persoanl destruction.

It’s the Democrats who have the generic candidate

Unfortunately, 13 months until the election is such an an eternity in politics, that in late October of ‘12, he could be riding a big wave of economic recovery (falsely generated but the sheeple will swallow whole) and he is in by a landslide. It only takes a microcsopic turn-around, and he is thed savior of the universe.

I think you’re far too pessimistic.
Baraq only got 53% of the vote vs McLame and a totally dispirited R party.
This was “ghost” Baraq who embodied the hopes and dreams of an entire universe, pumped to the max by a fervent MSM.

In 2012 the real Baraq has to run. Even Goolsbee is predicting over 8% unemployment by election time, so you can imagine what it will likely be. Add in recurring $1.5 trillion deficits, $4 gas, and skyrocketing food prices and he’s toast.

Wow. The numbers among “likely voters” must be even more dismal for Obama.

“any Republican” is already ahead by a margin greater than the “margin of fraud”.

Indeed. Good catch!

I am still of the thought that there is going to be no election. My fear is that we are going to have racial strife or another terrorist attack, big enough to cause massive chaos. And he will declare Martial law. The military will follow right there with him as they have with Libya. I don’t trust anyone at this moment. Our Military seems to be pulling the whole “we are just following orders” mantra with Libya. Will they say that when he declares martial law? Remember last time a miltary said”We were just following orders”. How did that work for us.

Why would anyone vote for him again????

Freebies. It's unbelievable how much goes to keep the masses sedated. I personally have seen people who I thought would NEVER feed at the trough get a taste of it and never look back.

Obama broke the record. 47 Million people are on Food Stamps, not 40 Million.

Zero is doing his very best to hang the coming depression on the GOP and with the MSM at his back he may very well be successful.

Buying votes with our tax dollars is what Democrats do- it's the only way such idiots can stay in power.

My husband was in the military, then worked for the DOD at STRATCOM until he retired. He was asked to open a military contracting office near Offutt, which he did. We both know the kind of people who serve our military. They are true Americans and would not stand by and see anyone harm our country. Yes, they will follow orders, but EVERY servicemen we know would NEVER knowingly do anything illegal. They would report illegal activities up the chain of command until someone listened. Now, some may find that a few high ranking officers tend to bow down to the president. Your average soldier would not betray his/her country. They really are decent people. When you hear that the military like o, there lying. I'd say 80-90% don't like liberals. I know people who put their retirement papers in when o was elected.

No they’re not, not all. I don’t pay taxes; I get too little SS to owe any, and I don’t favor him. I know people on food stamps who don’t favor him because he’s the reason they are. I know someone on disability who doesn’t favor him, because he has nothing to do with it. Rent subsidies, medicaid? I know some who don’t. Etc. And I’m only one person who knows some.

Hope is not a dirty word just because of who used it to defraud us. Hope is all we have.

“I didn’t think people would take very kindly to Zero’s threat to suspend social security Payments”

If they ended up blaming Obama that is. Don't think for a moment that the Obama Scribes will let him get blamed for anything. Clinton shut down the Government in 1995 and the blame ended up entirely on Newt and the Republicans.

Remember, it's poor Obama against those Republican meanies.

I love it! Hey, GOP, why go RINO when you’ve been given a blank check? Let’s go full-monty conservative!

I pray to god you are correct. I know of Oath keepers but I am just un-trusting these days. UP is Down and Down is up. Tin Foil seems pretty logical. Sorry for my pessimism.
