With a penchant for tough talk and polarizing positions, Republican presidential contender Michele Bachmann is a magnet for controversy — and there's a trail of police reports to prove it.
She and her staff over the years have requested police protection or investigations when her house was egged; when protesters threw glitter on her or held up critical signs; when her campaign yard signs were stolen; when a man wrote an email perceived as a threat; and when she screamed that two women were holding her hostage "against my will" in a city hall restroom.

I have no problem with any of this. (That is, requesting police action on vandals, thieves, and abusive/threatening actions.)
This is all they got? Sounds like Palin redux. Good thing they didn’t announce the thousands of hours they spent going over police records with a fine toothed comb like they did with Sara’s emails.

That's because she CAN'T. She's a back-bencher Congresswoman who hasn't sponsored any significant legislation or chaired a committe. Nor has she won a state-wide election. She has about as much of a chance of being nominated as my dirty socks.
