Federal regulators charged with implementing the Affordable Care Act stated Monday they are trying to work with states to start up the laws health care "exchanges" -- exchanges are one-stop consumer markets for buying insurance.
But they said they will install a federal health care exchange if a state refuses to set one up on its own.
The news carries weight for Florida, because Gov. Rick Scott, who first came onto the political scene as a staunch opponent of the federal overhaul of health care signed into law by President Barack Obama last year, is not moving from his stance that state agencies should not begin implementing the law.

Resist Hussein's deathcare law. And the media in Florida keeps telling us how unpopular Rick Scott is....but they never report on Hussein's numbers or the wild unpopularity of the Deathcare law.

Can someone tell me what is taking the SCOTUS so long to take this case? Have all lower court rulings gone through their paces?
I can’t help thinking that they will wait until we have reached the point of no return.

Once again, our governor presents a common-sense opinion for a difficult problem. Scott stated in February, after the ruling in the Florida case, that he did not anticipate the law being upheld and he would not move to implement it until its legal fate was settled.

Another interesting aspect about Scott, he not accepthing his salary...when does that ever get mentioned....NADA. Two reasons for that...first, the press is horribly tilted against him in this state. Second, he was not an establishment GOP candidate. Just like Rubio, he fought the mainstream RINO establishment and won. These guys, just like the dems they are in bed with, never give up.
Incidently, Rubio was on Hannity last night and after being badgered about being a VP lock according to Hannity and Dick Morris (who if he puts on any more weight will take up my entire monitor screen) said what I thought was the best response I have ever heard: I am flattered you would put my into that position but I intend to serve my State as a Senator and be one of the many Senate voices who can turn this around.

Can someone tell me what is taking the SCOTUS so long to take this case? Have all lower court rulings gone through their paces? I was just reading that only one of the three principal cases (the Virginia one) has had its circuit court appeal completed.

NO its the Michigan case that is done . It was a pro Obama case cooked up by a left wing group. It was considered a insignificant case and ignored by real legal experts.
VA and FL have not been completed.

I stand corrected. I was reading
Cuccienlli's take on the ruling and somehow read it as the Virginia case being dealt with, even though the article does make it clear that it wasn't.

Scott is doing well, first because he's not worried about getting re-elected..instead, like Walker in WI, he's doing exactly what he told the voters he would do. Unemployment is dropping..the state is turning the corner...
We will beat Nelson, and Obama will not win the state again..
