An ABC News story tonight confirmed rumors that the Christian counseling clinic owned by Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann and her husband Marcus Bachmann offered therapy to help "convert" homosexuals to heterosexuals. The "World News" report featured an interview with a former patient at the Bachmann & Associates clinic, Andrew Ramirez, who first visited the counseling center as a 17-year-old in 2004.
"[One counselor's] path for my therapy would be to read the Bible, pray to God that I would no longer be gay," Ramirez told ABC News. "And God would forgive me if I were straight."
Ramirez story, first reported by The Nation, is backed up by an undercover video at the clinic, which shows a counselor telling a gay man that he can be "totally free" of his homosexual feelings through prayer and hard work.
Mr. Bachmann has previously denied that his clinic offers "ex-gay" treatments, known as reparative therapy. The American Psychiatric Association does not condone the practice, and has said it might have potentially harmful mental health consequences.

Was anybody forced to go to this clinic? No, so every single person who went there wanted to get help. Did they claim to have a 100% success rate? I don’t know but I doubt it. Does any psychiatrist or therapist claim 100% success rates? No!

The bottom line is that the media will tear her a new one with this . The whole Gay thing is out of control and is a major force in society now.Everybody now is so PC with gays that it’s sickening . They will say she is unfit for office because of this and it will do her chances in big time. . It’s ok to sit in a racist pig church for 20 years , It’s ok to hang out with known domestic terrorist but this , this will undo her because she’s not a liberal.

A realistic view is to treat it like any other bad habit. Some may find it surprisingly easy to kick, others may find it a “thorn in the flesh” that calls for recurring skirmishes against Satan until the day they die. If the Bachmanns were promising a rose garden to every comer, that was wrong. However far be it from the MSM to provide anything close to a realistic portrayal of spiritual battles. The unbelieving public would find that dishwater dull.

I pray ABC has the brass to respond to my e-mail. Their pandering to the queernation is a convenient but invalid argument.Who hasn’t known homosexuals who insist they were born that way but are no longer homosexual? who doesn’t know someone who was happily heterosexual /married with children and all that who decided to walk on the dark side of fornication and adultery?Being Gay is NOT at all like being black-or hispanic-or female-it very much is closer aligned to alcohol/drug addiction.
The homos have seen how successful race baiting has been in American society, with any and all debate being instantly shut down with an accusation of “racism”,
and they want some o’ that.

This is the problematic part. There is starting to be a consistent pattern with the Bachmanns denying something, only to have it later pointed out that it was indeed true.
