I could envision Sarah walking into the Republican Convention and taking the Convention over and attaining the nomination by waiting until even then to declare. Call me crazy, and perhaps I am, yet I totally agree ... Give the media as little time as is possible to have at Sarah. Of course the media has been at Sarah, and Sarah constantly defeated the media, thus when Sarah announces, the other candidates and the media will be toast ... imho

A shetland pony should be able to win against Obama.Don't be so sure. The mindless idiots that voted for him the first time are still out there and still delusional. Globalists, unionists, academia and their students that are all in 'awe' of him and couldn't tell you what he has or hasn't done with any degree of accuracy.
We must fight to defeat him, no matter what.

Shhhh! She’s already got volunteers on the ground. Many, many of them. Yet true, total volunteers, taking no direction from the mother ship, so the FEC can’t tangle things up. Tis a thing of beauty to behold...

Yes, Sarah can. By a landslide. The PDS riddled, both here on FR and abroad, won’t believe it even if they see her five feet away, at the podium, taking the oath of office. The lines have been drawn, a long time ago.

And besides she can make coffee, and in a pinch she could whip up a batch of cookies when the men get together for serious political discussion.

[...] section AS 39.52.910, which spells out that the Ethics Act only applies to a state officer, not a former state officer, unless under a specific exemption (carve-out), such as the one in AS 39.52.250. SR, am I understanding you correctly that you're claiming that a person violating the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act chapter suddenly has that behavior disappear as a violation once he leaves office?
Isn't Sec. 39.52.250 (which applies to former public officers) a parallel to Sec. 39.52.240(g), without implying that violations that occured while in office are exempt once leaving office? The carve-out would be redundant otherwise, wouldn't it?

Should.
But when the election starts; logic and clear thinking goes out the window. Emotion and childlike thoughts will be present again amongst Obama supporters.

Track, the eldest son, who was deployed in Iraq during the 2008 campaign, is now married and running the familys commercial fishing business in Alaska, living quietly out of the public eye. Willow, who turned 17 last week, seems amenable (As long as her trucks running, shes fine, Palin said), and Piper, who is 10, is a seasoned campaigner. Bristols all in. That leaves Todd, who sat in on part of the interview. Do I want her to run? he said. Its up to her. I mean, well discuss it. But shes definitely qualified to run this country. And shes got a fire in the belly to serve.nope...not running ;-)

It doesn't help that they tilted her off kilter (referring to the distant shoreline made precisely horizontal in this modification):
But this is the first picture I've ever seen of her with anything approaching a smirking sneer. Also rather pale, washed out, and harshly lit.

She's an athlete..been one most of her life. Ya’ll expect her to look super feminine?
I don't share the enthusiasm about her chances. As Rush would say, “Trust me on this one”

The way things are looking it would be really hard not to win. LoL!
To: sickoflibs
Well, I wouldn’t hold it against her if she spent more time raising her family... maybe the younger ones won’t be as short-changed as Bristol and Willow.

Possible, but very unlikely given the changes enacted in January 2010 to address compensation and also to make any public dissemination of a complain filed will be disallowed and ended. I beleive she is just hedging her bets while at at the same time tweeking the elites and media at teh same time by not playing their game. Yes, my impression was that it was the "compensation" for lawyers fees that was the problem back in 2009, and that's no longer the case now after the changes. But i haven't been able to find any documentation on the changes that were enacted in Jan. 2010 (or was it Dec. 2010). Have you?

Note the angle of the shot...it's not looking down on her, like often is the case. Note also the lighting on her chin. It's a photo of her that with less direct manipulation than you might think. By lens and viewpoint selection, they have flattened and broadened some angles, but it's not like they 'shopped it to pieces.

Those arent Palins hands. Look closely at them. The back of the hands are extremely hairy. Those might be sun freckles on the back of her hands. The same can be seen in the picture across her chest.
Wasn't she in sunny Arizona recently?
To: NoGrayZone
Looks like freckles. Agreed...though I think it's a more shading and skin tone.
