July 6, 2011 Christian Post….While Perry has a good relationship with social conservatives, they have not always seen eye to eye. In 2007, Perry proposed requiring all school-aged girls to receive the HPV vaccine. Concerned Women for America was one of the groups that thought that the vaccine should carry an opt-in provision, in which parents would sign their kids up to receive the free vaccination, rather than Perry's proposed opt-out provision, in which all female school children would automatically receive the vaccine unless their parents explicitly requested that they not receive the vaccine.

Ann Hettinger, Concerned Women for America's state director of Texas, was instrumental in convincing Perry to change his proposal to an opt-in provision. When asked if Perry's original plans for the HPV vaccine would be an issue if he were to run for president, Nance replied, “It would've been an issue if he had not fixed it.”…..

That is what I like about Perry, he is able to adapt. If he thinks one way and it is not popular, he is willing to change. On the other hand, we have Obama and OBAMACARE.

It does not matter how many Merck officers and
Mexicans support the RINO Perry.

Open borders and Gardasil-by-mandate have NOT
been addressed by him.

Your link is fascinating. It's actually about the withholding of the Christian Right's support for Michelle Bachmann.

It appears the leaders don't think much of her and are waiting for either Perry or Palin to jump into the race, at least according to your article. They are explaining it's not sexism that is keeping them from endorsing her, rather the hope that a better, more complete candidate will carry the social conservative banner, i.e.: Palin or Perry.

I totally understand, Michelle Bachmann is a good conservative congrescritter, but has little executive experience, few (if any) achievements, and support is being withheld while they wait for a better candidate.

The Gardasil charge is really trumped up and exaggerated, I wish you would stop that, it really is a small and inconsequential issue.

I'm not certain about the open borders issue, the jury is still out on that one. He may be a problem like W or McCain was, but I'm not certain of that and it's unfair to cast him as an "open borders" supporter.

I also think it's not fair to say he's anti-illegal immigration yet, as I say the jury is out.

Inconsequential?

You mean like RomneyCARE and ObamaCARE?

No. Gardasil-by-MANDATE is a LARGE issue written
in indelible ink across Perry -— unless he addresses it.

Look, if the mandate was changed from how it was proposed before it hit the law, it's inconsequential.

He addressed it, it was changed, no one ever had Gardesil forced on them.

That has been explained by many posters with links to back them up.

Repeating the charge is much like what pissant did with all his crap on the Palin threads, you don't need to be like pissant if you don't like a certain candidate. Work for your candidate, but be truthful about the candidates you don't like and want to work against. It was disgusting what pissant did, he was a blot on this forum.

First, the mandate WAS RINO PERRY's IDEA, so it is an issue.
Proof:
RINO Perry's Chief of Staff worked for Merck
and the Merck company at that time was desperate for cash.

Second, RINO-Perry FOUGHT the change.
Proof:
RINO Perry rejected opponents' and Conservatives' calls to reverse
his mandate

Third, given that YOU support someone who in the past
supported RomneyCARE, ObamaCARE, or MANDATED-DRUGS-by-government,
is it not quite ironic that you project and call anyone else 'pissant'.

Uh, I'm not a Perry supporter at this point, I am simply hoping for some sanity in this issue.

Cheney was a big oil guy, but his being VP didn't mean the leftist slogan that the Iraq war was done for Bush's "oil buddies" was true.

Come on, own up, it's really an unfair criticism.

He can be criticized for the idea, but lauded that he backed off. Just be straight with this stuff please.

I agree.

Concerned Women for America: Bachmann, Palin, Perry and the Gardasil HPV vaccine non-issue

That thread was shown to be a revision of history.

RINO Perry and his PerryBOTs have no shame
as they try to revise history.

GARDASIL-GATE:

RINO Perry's
Chief of Staff worked for Merck
and, at the time, the Merck company was desperate for cash.
Solution: MANDATE GARDASIL BY EXECUTIVE ORDER.

RINO Perry rejected opponents' and Conservatives' calls to reverse
his mandate

There are >40 Types of HPV, 15 Types linked to cervical cancer.
Gardasil works against 4 Types and
does not grant full immunity to those 4 Types of HPV.
Gardasil offers no protection against the other
11 strains of HPV that have been linked to cervical cancer.

Sexually promiscuous women (not chaste girls)
require three shots over six months

CDC: 44% of teenagers received the HPV vaccine
but only 27% of them received all three requisite doses.
There is no evidence one does even works.

CDC: As of June 22, 2011, approximately 35 million doses of Gardasil
were distributed in the US. VAERS received a total
of 18,727 reports of adverse events; 68 deaths
.

Because the fool has his brain cavity filled with little tablets containing guardasil....he has no brain and therefore no favorite candidate.... But in his defense it’s not easy to exist with a brain cavity surrounded by your anus!
