Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
That’s what I want to know. What next? It’s not like her dad is going to let her back in, he clearly washed his hands of her on his last day on the stand, actually made the gesture as he walked by the table. Mom lied for her, and everyone knows it and brother has a fiancee who I’m sure doesn’t appreciate his sister accusing him of abuse.
So now what....
Thanks.
Geraldo actually making the case that she was a loving mother.
Its OJ all over again..I thought the OJ jury was the stupidest jury on the history of juries, now they can say “See, even WE would have convicted her” idiots..absolute idiots..now anytime a mother murders her child she can say she drowned in the pool
I’m speechless.........................
They know she did it.
They did what they could get away with to help her, bc she’s their daughter, but there is a gigantic strain in that family and it won’t change.
She took Caylee from them, and they will never be the same.
Agreed. She had that “poor me” face to her several times that I watched.
It’s a pity shunning has gone out of use.
The case was lost once this jury was picked.
Composition was that of typical Rat voters.
Let the book deals begin (that is...for the jurors)
Casey can now sell her story for book and movie rights..for millions....wonder if Baez can get some of that?
Darwin was right?
And now Geraldo babbling about how everyone understimated Jose, that he was actually brilliant as was shown by the verdit. Gag me!
They were probably abortion lovers..looked at Casey and thought “If only your parents had allowed you to abort Caylee this never would have happened”
I guess that's why.
Except... I can't believe she didn't do it. I can't believe any mom would've acted the way she did, and be innocent.
Lack of evidence. If I was a juror, this is exactly what I would have done — there is evidence of lying to police, but there isn’t adequate evidence that she murdered the child vs. the child dying by any other means. There’s something fishy going on, but with the evidence I wouldn’t be able to distinguish between murder vs. an accident and a cover-up. Maybe that makes me a cold-hearted SOB, but following the law that’s what I would have rendered.
Maybe she did it. Maybe she didn’t, and her father put the body under the tree that she couldn’t have moved by herself. If the evidence doesn’t let me distinguish between the two, I’d be forced to acquit.
Does anyon know what the makeup of the jury was like? Male, female, young, old, race?
