Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
Now the defender of the Constitution wants to wipe himself with the first amendment.

since they are so upset about this verdict..and since they know for sure she did it—why not just have trials by internet polling, ie mob rule?

Yet there was no evidence presented to the jury that chloroform was used to kill the child or even that she died from a neck break. So, it becomes just a theory.

Did you even read the post you replied to? I never claimed that Baez was a communist - I was responding to a someone else that did make that accusation.
The grandfather has been around the block. He knows what his daughter got away with IMO. I’m not saying this to besmirch him. It’s just my take that having been a detective, he knows what took place and can’t win no matter what he does at this point.
Justice was not served in this case. Everyone except the kid has their situation taken into consideration. Who takes the kids situation into consideration. Evidently no one...

Is it possible that prosecutors could bring another case if they found that Casey sold any pictures of Caylee to pornographers. Like they used to put mobsters behind bars (Capone) on income tax could they put Casey behind bars on pornography?

All those bong hits, had an effect.
It's like how people fatuously presume that child molesters will get their due in prison, when the fact is that child molesters do just fine in prison along with all the other child molesters. Prisons are filled with child molesters, even if that's not the crime they were convicted of that put them in prison.

Well, the whole deal revolves around the word "lack." There WAS evidence, but the question is, evidence of what? There was evidence of a deliberately buried body, a lying mother, who celebrated the loss of her daughter before her body was even found, and who did internet searhces for chloroform, and who had legal responsibility for the safety of her child.
1st Degree? 2nd Degree? Willful Manslaughter? Negligent Manslaughter? That's quite a spread of applicable charges, given the evidence. I just don't believe that what was found didn't meet ANY of them.
Or that (as has been mentioned in this thread) even a single juror didn't hang on letting her off Scot-Free (because that's EXACTLY what happened here).

What evidence do you have to support she abused the child?

Maybe the prosecution should have charged her with what they could prove instead of going for charges they had no evidence to support???

I am thankful the jury was able to separate emotion from evidence.
They knew Casey is a twisted f**k, but they followed the law.
