Well, I wonder when was the last time that some citizen didn't like a verdict they were only spectators to and took the law into their own hands. I sure can't remember anything like that. I've seen all the lousy old Charles Bronson 'Death Wish' movies, but that's not reality.

It's like how people fatuously presume that child molesters will get their due in prison, when the fact is that child molesters do just fine in prison along with all the other child molesters. Prisons are filled with child molesters, even if that's not the crime they were convicted of that put them in prison.

You know what bothers me..., why would the mother lie to the four or so officers they convicted her of lying to, if she didn’t have anything to hide? Evidently the jurors had no clue.

Why would she not call 911 when she found the kid in the pool? Once again, the jurors had no clue.

Why would she be motivated to get a tattoo heralding ‘the good life’, when she was supposedly distraught over her missing daughter? The jurors had no clue.

Why wouldn’t the fact she actually thought she was living the good life, not be seen for the motive it was? The jurors don’t know.

Why would the jury ignore the grandfather’s own testimony regarding the smell of human remains emanating from the trunk? He was a detective, and knew that smell from his experiences on the job. Well, why should we fret about this. There’s nothing to see here, move along, move along...

This looks for all the world like a classic case of juror misconduct to me. It’s like they weren’t even paying attention to the case. There’s too many incongruancies for this woman to be guilty of nothing except telling falsehoods.

How do you only spend nine hour ‘max’ determining that this woman was essentially guilty of nothing more than fibbing?

I guess they thought she just lied for the fun of it. She didn’t call 911, because she didn’t want to be seen as a conformist. She got that ‘good life’ tattoo because life goes on, and you can only mourn so long. Hey, it was just a coincidence that the grandfather smelled that unmistakeable smell.

And besides, they’d been under wraps for 30 to 60 days, and it was more important to get back home than spend more time on this inconsequential matter.

I can see a juror or two coming to this conclusion and deadlocking the jury. It is unfathomable to think twelve of them could ignore all this and rule for innocence.

You could very well be right. Perhaps nothing will come of this. I honestly don’t know. What I will tell you, is that if something should happen, it will be of no note to me. It will be something that I saw coming a mile off.

If it surprises you, that’s okay. I’m not here to lay blame at your feet in any way.
