FBI agents armed with federal search warrants swarmed the homes and offices of Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price, his top assistant and a political consultant Monday.
Agents were seen coming and going and searching vehicles at the county administration offices in the Texas Schoolbook Depository, at Price’s home in Oak Cliff and several other locations.
Price’s attorney, Billy Ravkind, released copies of search warrants issued for the commissioner’s person and two vehicles — but not copies of other warrants for his home and office.
The warrants said agents sought all electronic data from 2001 to the present related to alleged violations of federal charges ranging from bribery and tax evasion to money laundering and structuring of transactions to evade reporting requirements.
Speaking at his attorney’s office, Price said he did not know what the investigation is about.

I had not heard about Al Lipscomb, but John Wiley Price learned most of his dirty rotten ways from the scumbag Lipscomb! These two were the biggest dirt bags in Dallas!
When Terrel Owens was playing for San Francisco and decided to spike the ball on the 50 yard line - most people in Dallas would still rather kick the crap out of either of these two than TO!
If they threw JWP in jail and threw away the key, he still would be causing the disease of chronic racism and chronic stupidity to be spread! Even worse, he isn’t just a carrier; he exhibits ALL the symptoms of the diseases too!
As much as he has gotten away with over the decades, Price probably thought he was invincible, and got sloppy.
From what I am reading, they are hinting that there may be a corrupt connection between the new mayor and JWP in exchange for his “South Dallas” support.

I believe that is in the same building. The 6th floor museum is on one end, and DCC offices on the other.
Obviously it is a bunch of Texas crackers, bigoted FBI and a whites-only IRS team keeping a good man down.
THAT...would be something....no surprise...but I’d love to see the connection.
We (Conservatives in general) need to wake up, as a group, and start getting off our lazy rear ends to start voting. I heard the Dallas Mayoral election came down to less than 7% of registered voters voting in the run-off election. Dallas really deserves what they get, in my humble opinion. Glad I no longer live in that county. :)

Lipscomb and Price formed a dirty duo of dastardly deeds in Dallas. In fact, there was a terrible trio of treason in Texas back in the late 80's when Al Lipscomb teamed up with the evil (and downright ugly) Diane Ragsdale, also on the city council.
That was the prelude for some really bad times when the utterly incompetent and extremely corrupt Terrell Bolton was the police chief:

John Wiley Price is a very racist black Democrat in a majority black district, who earlier this year told white constituents he did not represent “people like them” and to go away.
He’s corrupt, but it isn’t much worse than some of the prior Hispanic school superintendents or black ones.
I agree completely! These three made JR Ewing of “Dallas” look like a new-born baby, in wind-driven snow!
Evil and corrupt are the two nicest words I could use to describe all three of them - useless human beings!
