Every time a Palin is attacked in the media and I read about it, I say a PRAYER for the Palin family.

I had never ever watched his show. This weekend we had free HBO and while surfing through the channels I stopped to see what his show was all about. I caught this segment about the Palin girl. I’m no fan of her but I was so disgusted at the filth that this guy was spouting I changed the channel before he was done. I can’t believe people watch this garbage.
Answer to question: Why is this despicable piece of vile trash still on the air or being quoted?
He is still on the air because his bosses are also despicable pieces of vile trash, and the FCC officials that are supposed to keep pornography off the publicly owned and controlled bandwidth are bought-off despicable pieces of vile trash.

I find it amusing how our “intellectual betters” (self-styled, that is) feel that they have to resort to gutter language to make their points. Surely someone so much smarter than the rest of us could make a convincing argument without the vulgarity?

I’m not intested in speaking for or against Bristol Palin; she is no better or worse than 99.99% of us. Personally, her life should NOT be a consideratin regarding Sarah Palin’s candidacy. That being said, she really SHOULD NOT have written the book while her mom was a potential candidate. It just gives the idiots on the left ammunition to use against Sarah Palin. IF some young girls can learn to be abstinent and wait until proper marraige...then the book will ultimately be good thing. The timing is just poor in regards to her mom running for office.
I think Maher is too low for description. I think Sarah’s family (and ANY candidate’s family) should be off limits. A respectable person would honor this code. However, Maher is NOT respectable and Bristol made herself a public figure by publishing a book. So, legally she is a target.
I WILL defend Sarah Palin in her raising of her children. Some here will say she failed as a parent. Well, I have seen too many children that came from hones where the parents were sincere and devout Christians that raised their children well. I have seen those children go astray and have children out of wedlock and other “immoral” behavior. As a parent one can only do so much....then ultimately the “child” has to take ownership of their own actions. You can teach your children well in values, but you cannot make them internalize them and make those values their own. Standing back and looking at this “objectively” throught the “subjective” eyes of hopefully (God willing that I trully am) a Christian prespective. I can say I see no fault on the Palin’s part - you cannot lock up a child forever. I don’t like to see Sarah bashed for her children’s mistakes(sins) anymore than I liked seeing Mike Huckabee bashed for what I have heard one of his sons did. Bad things happen to children of the Godly just like children of the ungodly.
Anyway, I wished Bristol had not published, but I don’t hold her mom accountable (for that matter, I know Bristol messed up, but see someone who has hopefully repented). Maher is beneath description...but nothing can be done about him except to ignore him.
Maher is one of the many reasons I don’t subscribe to HBO. How this piece of trash gets air time is beyond me...
