An eight-year-old Afghan girl was killed when insurgents detonated a bomb in a bag which they had given her to take to police nearby, the interior ministry said Sunday.
The incident happened in the southern province of Uruzgan on Saturday, the ministry said in a statement.
"The enemies of peace and stability committed another unforgivable and shameful crime -- an explosive-laden bag was handed to her and she was told to take it to police," the statement said.
"The child, pure-hearted and in good faith, took the bag and moved towards the police vehicle. As she got close to the police vehicle, the enemy detonated the bomb by remote control, killing the innocent child,"

These people are disgusting. How vile is that? I think they are a bunch of drug addicts, just like their hero, Osama was. That explains the twisted behavior. No one who claims to be God-fearing could act so cruel without being an out and out druggie. That’s just the way it works. I remember a couple of years ago I saw a news piece about Afghanistan in which an Islamic woman holding a baby told the reporter the child’s name meant “gift to God”. Not gift “from” God. She said once the child was old enough to do exactly what she was told, she would carry a bomb into the invaders, meaning us. This is the value of life as they see it. A child is born to be used as a walking explosive.
