ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Gay marriage will become legal in New York state after the Republican-led state Senate voted to approve it. Advocates are calling it a historic step as New York stands to become the sixth but by far the largest state to legalize same-sex marriage.
Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo lobbied hard for the bill and has promised to sign it.
The Senate vote is viewed as a major gain in an effort to allow gay marriage nationally.

As I was pondering the fact that this happened in a Republican controlled body, with the votes of Republicans, I remember that the Grand Old Party was founded for the purpose of combating what they called the “twin relics of barbarism,” polygamy and slavery.
One man, one woman marriage and the protection of life and liberty.
I’m thinking that there seems to be very, very few Republican “leaders” now who have any knowledge of history. Much less moral history. Even the history of their own party.

Note the Black people in the Video supporting TRADITIONAL MARRIAGE, which will surely weaken the talking point which compares interrational marriage with same-sex “marriage.”
