Just when you think that the abortion industry could not possibly get any slimier, you find something like this, from the Bronx Planned Parenthood web page
Heres what you need to know about abortion services at this health center:
Abortion Pill (Medication Abortion)
Abortion pill (medication abortion) is offered up to 9 weeks after the start of your last menstrual period. If your last menstrual period was more than 9 weeks ago, read about our in-clinic abortion services below.
Abortion pill (medication abortion) services are available by appointment only.
Plan to be at the health center for 2-3 hour(s) for your entire abortion pill visit (medication abortion).
During the abortion pill (medication abortion) visit, you must agreebefore you startthat you will have an in-clinic abortion if the abortion pill does not work.
After your abortion visit, you will need access to a telephone, transportation, and backup medical care available to you once you are home.
Lets break this down.
The abortion pill (RU-496) is offered up to 9 weeks after the start of your last menstrual period. Thats 63 days. As AUL has reported many times before, the FDA only approved RU-486 up to 49 days after a womans last menstrual period. At 63 days, the RU-486 regimen is 23 percent ineffective; women must then go in for a second surgical abortion. So Planned Parenthood is offering RU-486 in a way that is ineffective 23 percent of the timeand when it fails, Planned Parenthood gets paid for two abortions on the same woman.
Plan to be at the health center for 2-3 hour(s) for your entire abortion pill visit. The FDA approved RU-486which requires doses three days apartfor administration by and under the supervision of a physician. Then the woman is to come back approximately 14 days later for a follow-up appointment. If a woman is only in the clinic for 2-3 hours on the first day of administration, then clearly Planned Parenthood is not following the safety protocol approved by the FDA.
After your abortion pill visit, you will need access to backup medical care available to you once you are home. In other words, Planned Parenthood will do her abortion, but dont expect its staff to help with any complications.
Now here is the real kicker: you must agreebefore you startthat you will have an in-clinic abortion if the abortion pill does not work. A woman must agreebefore her procedure startsthat if it fails, she will let Planned Parenthood do a second abortion.
What if, in the interim, a woman decides she doesnt want to abort after all? Or, what if the woman decides she would rather be seen and treated by her own primary care physician or OB/GYN? What about choice?
From a legal perspective, the required agreement is totally bogus. A woman cannot contract away her emergency health care or her right to carry a pregnancy to term. But would the average woman know this? In the midst of an emotional and confusing time, a woman may want to keep her baby, or may not trust the clinic that botched her first abortionbut may think she is contractually bound to go back.
Its just another example of the abortion industry placing profit above safety and bullying women into aborting their own children.

RU-486 — over half the people who are exposed to this substance die because of it.
Of course, and sometimes the chemically killed baby does not come out.
I had a client in that situation.
Took her Ru 486, baby died, and then she just went about her life with a dead baby inside for weeks. Went in a couple of times to get checked, poor baby still in there.
Finally had a D&C to remove it. Hideous.
More than half, it kils a certain percentage of the women who take it as well. Far more than will ever be reported.
How are they offering it at all in a way that doesn't fit the FDA approval? If it's approved for use up to 49 days then handing it out for use beyond that point is illegal, right?
I’ve seen a lot of these PP bastards wearing pink shirts and asking people to sign a petition all over Manhattan. One came up to me and I loudly said I don’t support baby killers. Not what she was expecting to hear.
They built a new center not far from where I work. Last month they were flying a huge banner that read “Planning to be a parent is Sacred Work”...I was so mad I wanted to scream.
Our tax dollars at work.
I’m sure the fetus would vote for neither.
Wow.
Good for you! That takes courage.
bump!
At that point there is no alternative to a "surgical abortion" (that is a D&C). The baby is already dead and must be removed.
So much for RU 486 making killing the baby easy. Not that it would be OK if they weren't lying about that bit.
I’m currently reading Abby Johnson’s book, Unplanned. She did have a chemical abortion and it was terrible on her body.
Are you for 86sixing the baby and maybe yourself too?
That’s awful. I’m just curious, did the woman seem to have any sort of regrets, or was she just fine with it? I would think even a staunch pro-abortion advocate would be a little upset by something like that. She was, after all, carrying around a decaying carcass inside of her!
“Thats awful. Im just curious, did the woman seem to have any sort of regrets, or was she just fine with it?”
I did a couple of follow up telephone calls with her. Although polite, she didn’t really want to talk about it. So I quit calling.
I can’t imagine anyone being just fine with it, either, but it is amazing the capacity some have for evil.
I think she expected a quick, forgettable experience and got instead a long, miserable experience.
