I know quite a bit about Agenda 21 and none of it would be of the least bit of concern to Americans if they had not already relinquished state and local control in exchange for Fedtaxmoney bribes for stuff they want.
And this is not just a sudden realization. They know this and they STILL don’t want to give up FedGov taxmoney bribes for stuff they want, even though it undermines their entire case against Agenda 21.
When the Tea Party first started up I thought they would put an end to this, or at least work against it. But they don’t. They only want to work against specific and particular things they don’t want (and that perhaps others in their community do want) based on spooky Agenda 21 conspiracy grounds ___ or when that fails they dredge up “we don’t want the FedGov tax monies to pay xyz”. But you won’t hear a peep out of them if FedGov taxmoney is going towards stuff they DO want.
It is unfortnate that people cannot be more principled. I had higher hopes for tea party people.

I’m so glad that you are aware of and know quite a bit about Agenda 21.
I see now your point better that you make about people not challenging certain oxen they do not want gored. The freebie goodies from the Federal teat are a powerful drug. Also, as you say, the overwhelming numbers of progressive compromises made for far too long of our Founding structures of government and societal institutions have indeed left us vulnerable to the depredations of the ones with malintent toward individual liberty and freedom.
However, while some in the Tea Party no doubt are disappointingly unprincipled as you describe, I prefer to think that many are only just waking up and do not see the big picture yet and need rapid education from people such as yourself and the participants on this thread to get them up to speed. (Praying for God to accelerate that process of education according to His Will doesn’t hurt either, IMHO!...and having Him also take on the education of the unprincipled would be smart as well!)
Rush spoke some yesterday about the dangers of the welfare state consciousness, which I believe you are referring to. He discussed reports of good people getting hooked in to the goodies, and then finding it hard to withdraw from them because it is so difficult to work as hard as it would take to replace the freebies...then they become angry and resentful toward the government. It was quite well spoken, and fits very much in with my understanding of your own point.
It is heartbreaking to see our country brought to such a place, but I would encourage all of us not to give up, but keep pressing forward with whatever the next step...even if it is only a baby step... may be towards re-securing our Constitution and Founding structures.
Blessings

Congress Calls for Accelerated Use of Drones in U.S.

A House-Senate conference report this week called on the Administration to accelerate the use of civilian unmanned aerial systems (UAS), or drones, in U.S. airspace.
The pending authorization bill
http://www.fas.org/sgp/news/2012/02/faa-uas.html
for the Federal Aviation Administration directs the Secretary of Transportation to develop within nine months a comprehensive plan to safely accelerate the integration of civil unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system.
The plan shall provide for the safe integration of civil unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system as soon as practicable, but not later than September 30, 2015.
The conference bill, which still awaits final passage, also calls for establishment of UAS test ranges in cooperation with NASA and the Department of Defense, expanded use of UAS in the Arctic region, development of guidance for the operation of public unmanned aircraft systems, and new safety research to assess the risk of catastrophic failure of the unmanned aircraft that would endanger other aircraft in the national airspace system.
The Department of Defense is pursuing its own domestic UAS activities for training purposes and domestic operations, according to a 2007 DoD-FAA memorandum of agreement. (Army Foresees Expanded Use of Drones in U.S. Airspace, Secrecy News, January 19, 2012.)

Update:
In the recently enacted FY2012 National Defense Authorization Act (section 1097), Congress mandated that the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration shall establish a program to integrate unmanned aircraft systems into the national airspace system at six test ranges. This new test range program is supposed to be established within 180 days.
As of 2010, hundreds of FAA authorizations had already been granted for use of unmanned aerial systems within U.S. airspace.

Pinging the Agenda 21 folks to see this story about how the population of a small town have resisted the buying of a tank for their town of 23,000.
If you want to be on or off the Agenda 21 ping list, please notify me by Freepmail. It is a relatively low volume list in which we have been exploring the UN Agenda21 and related topics. We have collected our studies with threads, links, and discussions on the Agenda 21 thread (which is this one!)
You’re welcome.
Any coincidence that this militarization of police is in Keene NH the home of the Free State Project?

Thread on defunding UNESCO
Excerpt:
“Less than four months after the U.S. cut off funding to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization for granting full membership to the Palestinian Authority, the State Department has quietly put nearly $79 million in its 2013 budget in hopes that Congress will grant a legal waiver allowing UNESCO funding to be restored.
That permission is unlikely to be granted soon, and is already opposed by one of the more influential members of the Republican-dominated House of Representatives. “

Thanks for your information on the International Baccalaureate program. Do you have a link? In what circumstances would one be wanting to use that school code?
The Barack Obama Academy of International Studies (formerly Pittsburgh Frick/Pittsburgh IB) is an International Studies magnet school located in Pittsburgh's East Side community currently serving students in Grades 6-12. We are a certifiied International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (Grades 6-10) and Diploma Programme (Grades 11-12). Parents must apply for acceptance via the school district's magnet office.
I just went to the IB web site and looked up IB programs in my state (PA) and that is the first one on the list
