So he ate some goat and died. I still find it hard to imagine that this guy is over 5,000 years old.

These signs of cavities confirm the factHow is this a fact. It seems science writers have difficulty distinguishing between facts and evidence. It may be proper to say that based on the evidence and the current knowledge of the causes of cavities that it is probable that he had a high carb diet.
I'm not a dental expert but I know there are numerous factors including hereditary, fluoride in water and personal hygiene. How its possible for them to isolate these factors when they have only one subject leads me to believe that the statement only rises to the level of speculation and not even hypothetical and clearly not fact.

I enjoy hearing from Otzi from time to time. I wonder how that Ibex was prepared. Whether it was just ‘jerky’ on the road or a more social sit down meal of some sort. Thanks.

Something tells me this might be a fun group to hang out with after hours.
Or maybe not.
I can just imagine when they give out their card - “No, no, man, it’s a real place, honest”.

My neighbors said it was the Iceman that was seeing my wife after I left for work. Now that I have a good look at him, I’ll catch him next time.

What a total crap article!
Saying he ate an ibex just hours before is pure BS.
Any fool can see from the photos that the guy hasn't eaten in weeks.

Dental caries traced back to carbohydrates???? Methinks someone is wrong as to the age of this guy unless the local Dairy Queen goes back a LOT further than we think.
