Yes, I would say that an accident that results in your Porsche being dissolved into multiple pieces probably results from excessive speed.
I would further think that, for a Porsche, when you say “excessive speed,” you’re not whistling Dixie either.

"A 100-foot-long tire skid marked where the car left the roadway." "speed may have been a factor in the crash"
Gosh, what was their first clue?

Man, this is one unlucky dude to have this happen to him 5 times in one day.

I got sideways in a Porsche 914 once. My skid marks were only about 15 feet, but that was in my shorts!

And you thought “Groundhog Day” wasn’t a true story...

I'm still trying to figure out what this means:
driving his 2007 Porsche in suburban Philadelphia when it careered off the road.
More like; Careered ended.

Now, you know what is coming next? The lawsuit saying that the dealership and Porsche did not use proper judgement when they sold a high performance car to a Jackass, may he rest in peace.

Actually careered is correct, as it indicates the path that was followed. Most ‘journalists’ would report that the car CAREENED off the road, since most don’t seem to know that careening something means to turn it over.

While I’m sorry the man died, I’m even sorrier for the passenger he killed.
Who couldn’t see this coming a mile away? He probably thought it was funny right up to the moment he was incinerated.

From one who has suffered from adrenaline addiction, you’ve gotta be lucky to get old.
