We should have a national board made up of ordinary citizens who administer justice on politicians, companies and other assorted douchbags who prey on people this way. They’re say would be final provided it didnt violate the constitution.

So I can’t bring a snowglobe on a plane but it’s okay for me to bring a Pakistani-trained jihadist on any plane I want.

Right.

some years back I remember seeing a state selling bulk lots of knives on ebay (I think california) that were taken by tsa and turned over to the state. It was pretty grim, as I assumed some of the knives were gifts or had been with their owners many years.

Because it's filled with liquid, you can't carry a snow globe onto an airplane.

I think this wouldn't be the case if it is checked in as luggage.

You can’t tell me that the “lots” of multitools and pocket knives on ebay aren’t TSA related.

They already have. Last year, my wife mailed a package home from California to avoid the $35 fee for additional baggage. It didn't show for three weeks.

When it finally did, half the stuff was missing. The local post office wasn't even interested in taking a report.

A once great institution stocked with employees from the third world has now adopted third world values. Surprise, surprise!

“Because it’s filled with liquid, you can’t carry a snow globe onto an airplane.”

How long before they confiscate human beings because they contain fluid?

And hence, the slippery slope we always refer to. This is what happens when one gives an inch.

While admittedly ignoring the tyranny of globe confiscation, don’t most globes have a plug to add water? If so, and given that one knew a-priori it would be a problem, one could drain said globe and then re-fill upon reaching one’s destination. For the permanent-sealed globes, I might pose the question to the confiscator: “ Are you out of your freakin mind? that’s H20 in there, buddy”.

But of course, the bigger question of tyranny must be fought...

I surrendered a snowglobe to these TSA sons of bitches on return from Europe. As far as I am concerned, every one of those frickin’ mouth-breathing knobs whom works for the TSA should take a “voluntarily surrendered” snowglobe and cram it STRAIGHT UP HIS ASS.

Interesting logic. What are human bodies filled with?
