However, they DID lobby for medical care that will make it easier to KILL seniors.

When GWB had the stones to change SS AARP (and the rest of the liberals) screamed like banshees. The reason was they could not allow the fix of this program, created by the Democrats and their personal claim to eternal fame, to be accomplished by anyone but themselves. Now that OSTUPID is in the WH they are suddenly all for change and in fact want to even take credit for the fix themselves, at least in part.

The decision, which AARP has not discussed publicly, came after a wrenching debate inside the organization.

Yeah and that 'debate' was prolly about the Millions of AARP members who've canceled their membership since AARP became a spokesmen for the DNC. And all that MONEY they've lost because of it.

I dropped my membership, or actually I failed to renew around 2002₍₁₎₍₂₎. Yet they STILL keep sending me Renewal Letters & Cards - 'Renew now and save $xx.xx'. It goes right in the trash and the 'New Card(s)' into the shredder. One would think that after Nine Years they'd get the message.

(1) I had a Three Year membership.
(2) I only joined when I hit 50 for the 10% Hotel-Motel Discount. But also I had a AAA Card then and they have a similar discount. So screw AARP.
