Its now up to Texas Gov. Rick Perry to rescue the nations travelers from the indignity of x-rated airport screening at the hands of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). On Tuesday, a state House of Representatives committee is scheduled to consider revised legislation holding blue-gloved bureaucrats criminally liable for grabbing the private parts of passengers without probable cause or consent. For the measure to proceed further, however, Mr. Perry would have to formally add it to the list of bills considered during the special session now under way.

It’s a compromise at best — Perry has no problem with the X ray rooms.
Most people don’t, but the problem with them is that TSA won’t tell people the dosage they’ll be receiving, which is a problem for cancer patients like my mom.
After that bill, one should be proposed that requires the TSA equipment be subject to regular inspection and dosage measurement by Texas health authorities with random spot checks.
If Perry pushes the anti-groping legislation through and then signs it into law in Texas, he’ll be our next President.
If he doesn’t, he’ll just be another governor who is intimidated by Obama and his mob.
And how many times have passengers tackled and beaten someone who did something untoward on a flight? Simply stated, hijackers cannot hold off 200 angry passengers. So, the job of the TSA is simply to remove the bombs. Disarming the passengers is both pointless, and counter-productive.
Wait a few minutes and the Perry bashers will appear....still harping about nonsense that if they had a brain would certainly merit consideration on its merits. No they prefer to be one issue idiots... analogous to fools on the left with their venom and foolishness.... Note to the rest of America...Perry is the real deal and has been a heckuva Governor for Texas... Only the uninformed and fools bash him... This comes from a Texan....
Folks don't remember what true freedom and personal responsibility is.

I wnder if the tsa agents peek under the burkas to see if the individual shaved that day. And how about those arabs wearing those wound towels on their heads and long whie dresses. Do the tsa agents look under then and feel around?
One step at a time - things didn’t get this bad overnight, they progressed in steps and it will only be reversed the same way.

Critics rip Perrys vaccine mandate
Governor rejects opponents calls to reverse order
AUSTIN Gov. Rick Perry stood firm Monday against a political firestorm generated by his
order that sixth-grade girls be inoculated against a sexually transmitted virus linked to cervical cancer.
Social conservatives from Texas to Washington called on Perry to reverse his order making
Texas the first state to require the vaccine, saying the mandate makes sex seem permissible
and that parents should be the ones to decide whether to immunize their daughters.
And several Texas lawmakers expressed outrage at Perry for circumventing the legislative process.

The vaccine, Gardasil, is manufactured by Merck, which was represented in Austin by the
lobbyist Mike Toomey, who was chief of staff for Mr. Perry from 2002 to 2004.
