The mainstream media and their fellow moonbats are in a frenzy today, counting the minutes until the 1 p.m. EDT official release of 24,199 pages of Gov. Palin e-mails.

The Washington Post has set up a Twitter account for the e-mails, PalinEmails.

As noted yesterday, The Washington Post and The New York Times are recruiting help from their readers in reviewing the e-mails for dirt on Palin.

The Los Angeles Times is also setting up a database for the e-mails, which have to be scanned as they are only being released in paper form.

Reporters from the U.S. and around the world are in Juneau awaiting the release.

The Guardian has a live thread by a reporter in Juneau.

That tells you everything you need to know about conservatives. I am so disgusted right now.

Somebody needs a nap.

But, she's just a has-been, right-wing Barbie doll who can't even get elected to dog catcher. Why all the interest?

I am thinking of calling IL to get Obama’s emails from when he was in office.....any one have any idea why the FOIA wouldn’t pertain to those also? What am I missing?

We are still waiting on those college records that he doesn't want anyone to see.

Just deleting them doesn’t get rid of them. They are still in the computer for quite awhile.

Huh.... that's interesting to know. :)

For Illinois: Every public body must make available to any person for inspection and copying all public records except those identified as exceptions. See 5 ILCS 140/3(a). Person is defined as any individual, corporation, partnership, firm, organization or association, acting individually or as a group. See 5 ILCS 140/2(b).

Public bodies whose records are subject to the Act include legislative bodies. See 5 ILCS 140/2(a). It should be noted that records of officers and agencies of the General Assembly that pertain to the preparation of legislative documents are exempt from disclosure if those records are in the nature of preliminary drafts, notes, recommendations, memoranda and other records in which opinions are expressed, or policies or actions are formulated. 5 ILCS 140/7(1)(f).

It would be interesting to find who has asked for his records (because I'm sure someone has) and what the status of the request is.

I think one reason it took so long for Alaska to process the request was because Sarah and her staff supposedly used non-official e-mail accounts (like Yahoo) to discuss official business sometimes. The journalists wanted access to those as well but I don't think the state government had any jurisdiction over the records kept by outside providers. It took a lot of the state's time and money to argue it.

My son told me they go to some unused space and disappear when that space is refilled.

Something like that, I am no expert. A forensic computer expert could find it quickly. They are still on the hard drive somewhere.

Not only do they remain in the computer (findable through PC recovery methods), but in government and corporate environments, the servers maintain archives, too.

When you delete a file off of your computer you are essentially deleting the record of its location on the hard drive and not the file itself. The computer then can use that space to write to.

There is all kinds of software that can recover that, I am doing that now on an external drive that got corrupted which looked like it erased 500GB worth of pictures and video of the kids.

So what lies are they going to make up and repeat ad nauseum on Pravda as talking points for the lib masses? Any guesses? Let's see, which lies will cause her to not want to run the most?

Wrong! You think Lee got his blood up? Don't try this technique with Sarah and with us. Wait, go ahead, just more Votes for Sarah!

I delete old emails—there’s no way I have room on my computer for years of old emails.

Do the recipients delete the one's you sent?

I want to know this: Where are the gutless republican presidential candidates who should be shouting from the rooftops about this outrage against a private citizen, AND a woman?

BOOYAH!

Yeah, where's her good buddy, Rick Perry, whom she endorsed in his last race for Governor? Where is her good friend, Michele Bachmann, whom she endorsed in her last race? Juan McCain? Where are you people?

I can only hope there are some Palin friendly folks reading those emails and use the Times and Post money to spread the great stuff.

I did hear that anything of a personal or top secret type info has been redacted.

So, I wouldn’t worry too much. Even if nothing is there, they will just make it up like the the Dan Rather and Mapes scandal. Oh well, Palin can say she provided more jobs than Obam has. LOL

The Guardian’s liveblog, Palin writes, “What the hell has happened to the leadership positions of our great states?”

Oh, Scandal! She’s so unchristian-like for saying Hell! But I agree with everything she says! LOL!
