All the more ‘proof’ that our side should just let the ‘punching bag’ stay in place. Let the RATs take down the punching bag.

-"Conservatives love to use stories like Weiner's to paint the entire party as corrupt," Schultz added.

Hey Ed, that's because it 'IS'!

But last night he said this wasn’t a democrat or republican, liberal or conservative issue. I firmly believe he got his marching orders from Nancy to start calling for Weiner to resign. It’s scary that liberal politicians have their own state run media. But that’s just the way it is.

Conservatives love to use stories like Weiner's to paint the entire party as corrupt," Schultz added...

Now why (cough cough Clinton) would anybody (cough cough Rangel) get that idea (cough cough Edwards)? I just can't think (cough cough Kennedy) of any reason for it...

I think a great web or mobile app would be some sort of graphic display of “calls to resign” once something like this starts. The app would take into account all sort of factors, the number of people that want the politician out, the ones that have issued strong support, lukewarm support, combined with some notion of how important the people are and what their jobs are.

And it would have some notion of a “tipping point” where the chorus becomes so loud that it’s impossible for the pol to continue.

A bit like a death pool in some ways, but more of a “Resign Now” tracking app.

Perfectly wasted opportunity for a good headline, it should say:

“Ed is down on Weiner.”

Too much is at stake. This isn't about Weiner. It's about the agenda. It's about the liberal agenda.

Sometimes, when speaking amongst their own, the truth slips out.

Ironically, Sgt. Schlitz is just back from his own time out for attacking Laura Ingram. This is kind of like Bob Beckel pretending to be a “born again” Christian after being blackmailed by a whore. Reformed whores always become the biggest prudes.

Schultz better get back in line. He needs to have a serious talk with Maddow. This whole thing is nothing but a right wing conspiracy. /s

"Weiner's lies, you have to admit, are going to be a distraction for the Democrats, and I don't think they can afford that for the 2012 election.

So the problem isn't that Weiner is a liar who happens to also be a sexual deviant (and possibly a sex offender?), it's that he's a distraction.

Way to keep it classy, Ed.
