Fox News is in the tank for Mitt and of course Chris Wallace hates conservatives only slightly less than his Far Left daddy,so don't be surprised if Sarah gets another Katie Couric style gotcha.
Man,how I miss Tony Snow.

Austan Goolsbee and Herman Cain on the same program (ABC) should be a lot of fun to watch!

Thanks for the thread AB much appreciated.

Wow, an opportunity to see Sarah! Does not get any better!!! Ghoulsbee will be full of talking points I will watch him very closely.

Anyone following the escapades of the Donald?

If you want to go out on a limb and get really conspiratorial without doing any research, just imagine that Trump got to where he is,including numerous bankruptcies,by stepping on a lot of toes, twisting arms and playing fast and loose with the law.Really, not really too much of a stretch.

Now imagine that the regime has dug up enough of his mideeeds, illegal actions, forwarded them to Holder who is such a piece of work, he will do the regimes bidding since he is apart of the regime. And, wala the Donald is confronted with a do or die scenario by Valerie Jarrett with or without zeros knowledge.

If Trump can syphon off 3-5% of the vote zero is reelected. With absolutely nothing to run on but Obamacare and his officials scared to even mention the word, he is in deep doo doo and must pull a super fast one like the above.

Stopping the regime before they get stated could help if it's even in the cards.

If it is we will see the singes soon.

Wallace has already shown his cards to attack Palin as in the the Paul Revere card. Brought that up already on Fox and Friends.

Romney is a manager, not a leader. He will not inspire us, or anybody else. Not even VP material, because he could end up President anyway and that would not be good for America.

I agree with previous posts; maybe Secretary of the Treasury or Commerce, but I would like to know that he can at least do his own taxes using Turbo Tax before he is in charge of the IRS.

Going to try ABC,

Goolsbee isn’t the only one saying more than 2 million private sector jobs added in the last 14 months;

“That means over the last 14 months,” Obama said, “we’ve added more than 2 million jobs in the private sector.”

http://www.monstersandcritics.com/news/business/news/article_1637565.php/Hiring-picks-up-but-US-jobless-rate-up-to-9-per-cent
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney pointed out to reporters that April was the 14th consecutive month of growth in private sector employment, for a total of 2.1 million jobs

And here is what I would like to see from a candidate:

1) Reduce the size of the federal government headcount by somewhere between 40 and 65%. The purpose of this would be to ensure that people on the payroll perform ESSENTIAL government services, not provide employment to professional box checkers who dot i’s and cross t’s.

2) Change the name of the Department of Defense to the Department of War. We need to recognize the purpose of that department, which is to kill people and break things when it serves our national purpose to do so. Nation building is not a national interest; for example, most people born and raised in Afghanistan do not know how to work indoor plumbing, so rebuilding that country means taking 2 stones and piling them on top of a 3rd stone, so it looks like it did before the Russians invaded it 30-some years ago.

3) Along with #2, repeal the Presidential Wars Act. This would require that Congress does its job BEFORE we spend blood and treasure in extended military actions. The last time Congress did its job in this function was in 1942. Since then we have allowed the political types to avoid actual votes of consequence and drag us down into the minutiae of details and avoid the purpose of having a 3-branch form of government in the first place.

4) Real tax reform; use the 1970 Illinois State Income Tax form as a role model. The entire tax form fit on one side of an 8 ½ by 11 inch sheet of paper, and all the instructions fit on the back side. And the printing was large enough that anybody could read it. If anybody wants to change the wording, the number of words removed would have to at least equal the number of words added. And every word in the instructions would have to be recognizable and understandable to a person who reads English at the 4th grade level.

The details of what is on the form are not as important as the need to recognize that the purpose of a tax is to fund government spending, not provide a tool for social engineering.

5) Make it a requirement that congress cite the specific provision of the US Constitution that authorizes any law they want to pass.

Palin supports the Ryan Plan, mentions the attacks on the plan.

==

[The attacks on the Ryan Plan are so vicious because there are rumblings that he may become a candidate. They left/MSM/Dems and a few ‘moderate’ Republicans are trying to destroy him [via his plan] before he might become a viable contender in the primaries.]

To: Alas Babylon!; All

So much for her being “an airhead”.

This is too fast paced for me to comment on and comprehend at the same time.

Wait till you see this. Wallace doesn’t seem to be trying to trip her up.

She is articulating more non-repeat conservative commentary per second than most “seasoned” guests do in an entire interview....on any given topic...no notes on her hand nor teleprompter.

THIS WEEK (ABC): Austan Goolsbee, chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers

All over the map

Goolsbee(paraphrased) on Trends, don’t look at that month, it takes more than a month to show a trend [3 months, buddy]

Goolsbee (paraphrased) only Government stood between the economy and a depression vs. only the private sector can take us to a recovery [well, it would it logically have been the private sector that “stood between the economy and a depression”, unless your in a spin zone]

Wallace asks Palin what she is up to with the bus tour.

Sarah Palin causes weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth:

weeping amongst the journalists,
wailing amongst the opposition party,
gnashing of teeth amongst those purportedly of her own party.

She is driving them crazy.

THIS WEEK (ABC): Panel

Raise the Debt Ceiling? Logic, you’ve maxed your credit, go get another line of credit, is that to pay interest on the money borrowed? The bank accused my bro of Kiting Checks when he did something similar.

There are 12 appropriation bills this year that could be cut down to size. And you’d avoid being turned down by the creditors too.

Morning AB, All....

...as always, AB...thank you for doing this thread.

Let me say right from the start...my what a beautiful necklace Sarah is wearing.

Before the end of June I’m getting a pair of glasses just like hers. I’m too old to be a “groupie” if you will, but the glasses I wear now are too dark and clunky and I’m tired of looking like Golda Meir.

Big news from Delaware but first, made some meatballs this morn because you can never have too many meatballs. Got corn on cob boiling...am a bit doubtful as it seems early for corn but I couldn’t resist. Made chili in the slow-cooker and husband driving me nuts all night about how it looks, how good it smells, Did it turn out okay?

Insert smile here.

So didja y’all hear that Christine O’Donnell got cleared from those bogus campaign finance charges filed with the FEC during her last campaign?

Oh yeah, the Democrats filed those charges just go get her bad publicity....NO WAIT!

The Delaware REPUBLICAN party filed those charges against our lawfully elected candidate in our primary...oh yeah. And if it happened here, folks, it’ll happen to a GOP party near you.

And still the COD hate-filled Blue-Blood GOP come out of the woodwork, declaring the FEC ineffective, that COD was guilty as hell....they’re still out there, folks.

COD, they tell us in this the ninty-ninth hundred recitation of their insanity...is not from Delaware, she’s a transplant from New Jersey.

She file an EOC case against a conservative think tank for which she worked, she almost reniged on a loan, once even going so far as to begin filing bankruptcy.

On and on they go and our eyes, again, glaze over.

First, EVERYBODY’s from somewhere else in Delaware! Dag. It’s a little state nestled in the middle of Pa, Md, NJ...states that tax their citizens to death till they have to move just to survive. Does this mean that...I, for example, couldn’t run for Senator, being from Merryland?

Second, Christine O’Donnell did this and she did that...they yammer on and they yammer on. And we all know, Mike Castle, with his very dubious sexuality, lived a perfect life, now a millionaire many times over on monies he made as a perpetual public servant.

Come on!

Somebody tell the Blue Blood Ruling Class! We voted for COD because SHE WOULD VOTE OUR WAY ONCE SHE WAS IN THE SENATE!

What part of representative democracy don’t the Blue Bloods understand?

I mean, it’s not like the woman sent out Tweets to men 1/3 her age with x-rated pics of herself in her underwear or anything.

I’m jus’ sayin’.
