"Winning" is about offering something that isn't politics as usual, which everybody I talk to is about fed up with.

And RINO's are the Enemy of Conservatism...

We're done with pussy-footing around with "compromisers". They need to get it in their heads or get the hell out of the way.

Where’s it written we want “purity”? We want the most qualified conservative candidate. I realize I’ll never get all I look for, but I can try. And that’s what primaries are for.

These people are running real scared. They know there’s change, real change, in the wind and they don’t want to be left on the outside looking in.

Tell and educate the voting public on just what we believe and will fight for on the “social issues”.

Educate the public on what the left believes on the “social issues”.

2/3rds of the public holds the same values as “conservatives” and would side with us if they were just educated on the truth of what the two sides believe.

Palin, Cain and Bachman. All Imperfect and all 1000% better than any RINO and 1001% better than any democrat.

But will the candidate have to be pure on tax breaks for oil companies?

RNC Chairman, Reince Priebus said,
“I think that social issues are the fabric of our society and for us to not be involved with those issues causes us to turn our back on what I think is the foundation of America.”

Barbour, a member of the Plaid Pants wing of the GOP, is out of touch with the head of the Party and with the Base.

Christ was perfect.

Haley’s tone here sounds suspect.

On the other hand, we can’t buy every establishment slut the Republican Party drags out of its bed.

Why shouldn’t we expect our candidates to share our values? Look at the mess we are in from accepting less.

The time for compromise might come after the primary, but not until, not when we have a chance to field a winner.

Getting that message out through the MSM filter is problematic at best...

I think "education campaigns" were a tool the Libertarian Party tried to use to raise Constitutional issues. How'd that work out for them? They are polling less than 1% in National races...

Got any other ideas? I do...

Palin, Cain and Bachman. All Imperfect and all . . .

I would have said: Palin, Cain, DeMint, and Bachmann. All imperfect and all more than acceptable. There is no point in a Romney victory - that is a victory for Big Government statism, not for freedom and conservatism. But I'll take any of those four with great pleasure, and there are quite a few others I would be satisfied with. I will not vote for the lesser of two evils in 2012. Being less evil than Obama is far too low a standard to equate that to acceptability.
