RNC Chairman, Reince Priebus said,
“I think that social issues are the fabric of our society and for us to not be involved with those issues causes us to turn our back on what I think is the foundation of America.”
Barbour, a member of the Plaid Pants wing of the GOP, is out of touch with the head of the Party and with the Base.
Nothing Barbour said contradicts Priebus, or anyone in the Base with any amount of pragmatism or common sense.
The headline, by the way, is not reflected in Barbour's comments.
