When I was a child, a cat got half squished by a car and was crawling across the street.

Mom called the cops, and the officer dispatched the animal with a .38 round.

He shot it when it was on a sewer cover, the round roached through all us kids who were gathered around to watch. It was a miracle no one got hit, but a neighbor did lose a shed window.

What gives police the right to enter private property and fire their guns, even if it were a live gator?

As I have posted on other threads, police are no longer the good old boys that are sworn to serve and protect.
Many are now jackbooted thugs, as the one that shot the poor indian wood carver.

I saw it starting before I left the USSA in 2004.
