This past week the "progressive" left laid claim to the women's vote of 2012.
They intend to compete for the hearts and minds of women.
They intend to win the votes of women, and they will lie, confuse, and mislead if necessary to do so.
In short the left believe that the women's vote in America is something they can manipulate devoid of fact.
More pathetically they believe women in droves will cascade with them over the cliff into the insanity the left offers--all the while attempting to convince them they are truly on their side.
To the left, women are just another group, like ethnicities, and sexual identities, that they believe they can victimize--then rescue, all in the matter of the twenty-second soundbite.
They've even recruited women to do it--case and point--Democratic Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who recently assumed control of the DNC.
I've watched Schultz on her pundit hits on cable news, and have never really been very fascinated by any of the victimology ideas she has to peddle. Now that she speaks for the entirety of her party however, her words become seemingly more important. This last week she laid her strategy bare:

The left sees everyone as stupid. Except the elite.
The left will always carry a majority of the “feminist” vote. You know, the kind of woman who likes to think of herself as “independent” and capable of doing “anything” but needs no end of taxpayer-financed assistance to do it. Essentially, these are the women who are “married” to the government.
Women, especially single mothers, are the primary recipients of welfare benefits — big government is their “daddy”. If the libs didn’t recognize them as stupid, and treat them so, they’d lose a huge part of the voting base.
Liberal Women. Are they Women first or Liberals first?

If you don’t swing with a political affiliation, they don’t view you as smart. Opposing them makes you somehow hypocritical and/or stupid, and possibly neglective to all the hungry children in America. Got to love hearing their propaganda everywhere.

Thanks... I like to frame that in the context of the GOP's recent caving in over the cuts of taxpayer aid to Planned Parenthood. The feminazi crowd was squawking the loudest... and all I could think was... aren't you chicks independent? Aren't you the chicks the ones who need a man like a fish needs a bicycle? If they really believed that they would be begging for Congress to cut the funding so that they could finance Planned Parenthood out of their own pockets.

It is worse than that. For every single mother who is literally on welfare, two women are negative taxpayers via EITC, and ten more might as well be, with the public spending they and their families consume swamping their meager tax payments. And that is to say nothing of women’s big share of overpaid low-skill government jobs and regulatory state make-work in the private sector.
Because liberal women are stupid. Think of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Debbie Stebemow, Janet Napolitano, Rose DeLauro.
Did I mention that they are ugly too.
Exploiting a typical young person’s lack of self-esteem and self-confidence, dismissing someone intellectually, and ridiculing their point of view as stupid is a tactic that’s always been used by leftist academics to intimidate students into distancing themselves from people that the left despises. (Ayn Rand, Milton Friedman, Ronald Reagan, et al weren’t “wrong” they were “stupid.”)
Notice how the Left’s comics and entertainers use that tactic with their audience, which consists of young people and liberals who’ve been indoctrinated into that judgement system.
In short, I have known women who are devoid of fact.
