Let me fix that last paragraph for you:

Time and again, Governor Perry has exhibited the willingness to tackle the hard issues [during Campaign Season].

If you're really wanting a good, conservative candidate who could actually do some good, I'd suggest looking at Cain or DeMint.

Search the Perry threads and you will see that he is considered a RINO here. Records don’t matter but if the name ain’t Palin it’s sure to be a RINO!

Name recognition would be helpful about now.

For instance, I don't know the answer to the following: Rick Perry, a bold and unapologetic conservative...; Is this true?

Perry is no conservative and would be a worse pick than Romney. At least Romney is overt about it. Perry was ready to mandate girls in Texas get injected with an unproven vaccine and steal land from farmers across the state just to pay off his globobuddies. Perry is everything that is wrong with the RNC and a Dukakis-endorsing party-hopping political whore to boot. Don’t be fooled by his machine trying to trot him out as a Tea-Party-lovin’ savior for the GOP. He comes to bury any hope of the Tea Party being a force for the Constitution, as he’s a man who has no respect for property rights or national sovereignty. Just ask him whether illegals should pay in-state tuition. Ask him what he thinks about the idea of a border wall or Arizona’s immigration laws. He’s George P. Bush without the tan.

I agree, Perry should run. Anyone with the belief they can defeat the Messiah should get in the race. The nation is in serious trouble and the failing liberal policies not only have to be stopped, but reversed.

Perry, Palin, Christie, Gulliani, Scott Walker, all the ones already in and about to get in. Hell, the first page of any phone book would be preferable to the current disaster.

LOL! This piece has nothing to do with truth. If Palin isn’t mentioned - it’s propaganda. The world knows SARAH and waiting to hear about her run or not. Yet this author doesn’t mention her? Too funny. Perry won’t be on any list of mine, if he needs to be pumped up via propaganda.

No Perry on a Palin ticket. I’m sure she will pick a fighter like she is. Wimps are a dime a dozen and are repulsive to fighters.

Gov. Sarah Palin? YES!

Rick Perry? NO, NO, NO!! I don’t cuss, so “heck” NO!

The Bible says you can’t mix sweet water with bitter. If she hooks up with Perry that’s what it will be like. I will not support that.

This is simple.

If Perry strong arms the Texas Senate to pass the anti-TSA molestation bill, he will be one of two things:

President of the United States.

Or

President of the Republic of Texas.

If he doesn’t, he won’t be anything but the governor of a state. Ever.

Perry was thrice elected Governor of large and important State.

He's got a great story to tell in Texas, which has had nearly half of the National job growth Obama can claim.

He was active duty as an Air Force pilot.

Obama does not want to run against Perry.

Concurrently, the "moderate" segment of the Republican Party, despite being consistently rejected by voters...

What a joke. Perry simply infiltrated the Republican Party.
Mr. Goodhair and the "moderate" segment of the Republican Party are nothing more than Progressives, no matter which side of the aisle they sit on.

Perry would be much worse than the Centrist Bush ever was as POTUS.

With the notable exception of his support for mandatory STD vaccinations for school age girls

At this point, Perry doesn't sound good to me. I need to confirm, but Freeper af_vet_rr listed far more than just this one mistake by Perry. Among the others he listed are the following items I still need to confirm, as I won't take it on face value - if true I will find them easily enough. But here are several more possibilities of problems with Perry as listed by Freeper af_vet_rr:

Engaged in the biggest land grab by the government since the Spanish ran the place.

Presided over the collection of DNA from newborns that ended up in databases, including federal databases.

Attended Bildeberger meetings.

Tried to hand out huge no-bid contracts to foreign companies and then tried to cover up the content of those contracts from the taxpayers who were footing the bill even though the contracts were no-bid and only involved one company.

Was sending a lot of state business to Rudy Giuliani's lawfirm, the same lawfirm that was also receiving money from the foreign companies who were getting no-bid contracts from the state of Texas.

That's a lot of baggage right there for a Conservative. Sounds too much like NWO blue blood Baby Bush to me. I know nothing of Perry so I can't rule him out this early until I study much more, but he sounds like another RINO moderate to me from the tiny bit I've heard about him.

I would like to see a list like that for Palin attempted. All you would come up with was "polite to McCain and played his lackey as gracious way to thank him for launching her political career.

And another thing! The ONLY reason Romney is considered any kind of front runner at all is because the MSM wants him to be, so they will do everything they can to make him the GOP nominee. They want to duplicate 2008 where they picked a weak McCain to lose to Obama. Now they want to pick a weak RINO Romney who they are equally confident will lose to Obama. They know that if they can push Romney into a GOP primary win, they can get the conservative base to sit home in 2012 and hopefully hand Obama re-election. This is just 2008, the Sequel. MSM picks the squishiest RINO to lose to their guy. Heads they win with Obama. Tails, they don't lose with socialist light Romney. And they think they have a 2-headed coin.

Perry and Dewhurst stood down on Tuesday when Obama threatend an airport blockade if they passed the TSA unlawful groping bill.
He always seems to talk tough but never comes through when needed. His lieutenant governor is also a fraud (David Dewhurst) is also a liar and a fraud who carries the water for the white house. The house and senate had a unanimous vote and Dewhurst shut it down at the last minute. Look it up my friends.

Perry is not a conservative. He would be a real disappointment if nominated. That’s why there’s not much support for him among Texas FReepers.

No Perry. He was (and probably still is) all-in for erasing our southern border and instituting the NAU. I think it’s appropriate to ask what personal accomplishment of Perry’s would grant him consideration as the GOP’s nomination. I can think of none. He has had the good fortune to be sitting governor during a time of economic resurgence for Texas - a resurgence he’s had almost nothing (personally) to do with.

IMO he’s a progressive sleeper who could do serious damage to both the US and to the GOP brand if ever given the reins to the country.
