Let me fix that last paragraph for you:

Time and again, Governor Perry has exhibited the willingness to tackle the hard issues [during Campaign Season].

If you're really wanting a good, conservative candidate who could actually do some good, I'd suggest looking at Cain or DeMint.

Search the Perry threads and you will see that he is considered a RINO here. Records don’t matter but if the name ain’t Palin it’s sure to be a RINO!

Name recognition would be helpful about now.

For instance, I don't know the answer to the following: Rick Perry, a bold and unapologetic conservative...; Is this true?

Perry is no conservative and would be a worse pick than Romney. At least Romney is overt about it. Perry was ready to mandate girls in Texas get injected with an unproven vaccine and steal land from farmers across the state just to pay off his globobuddies. Perry is everything that is wrong with the RNC and a Dukakis-endorsing party-hopping political whore to boot. Don’t be fooled by his machine trying to trot him out as a Tea-Party-lovin’ savior for the GOP. He comes to bury any hope of the Tea Party being a force for the Constitution, as he’s a man who has no respect for property rights or national sovereignty. Just ask him whether illegals should pay in-state tuition. Ask him what he thinks about the idea of a border wall or Arizona’s immigration laws. He’s George P. Bush without the tan.

Forgot to mention, the way Texas is set up, the Governor doesn’t have as much power to control the state’s bearings as compared to other states’ governors. All Perry really has to do is look good. Haven’t you heard the term ‘Governor Goodhair’ before? Just so you know, it refers to Perry :)

Every potential decent candidate is being smart by not jumping in and having the MSM rip them apart. However along those lines how about Bachman/Pallin in either order and when the smear begins they play the gender card and find old tapes of Gloria and the rest extolling the “virtues” the new American woman should have and they both did it without any help from NOW or affirmative action. Can Oba, claim that? I think not

Feel free to read ANY thread about Perry, who’s a fake conservative like Orrin Hatch or John McCain. He’ll always show up at the Tea Party rally and shout about secedin’ during campaign season, but he knows the RNC has his back and carries their water.

I agree, Perry should run. Anyone with the belief they can defeat the Messiah should get in the race. The nation is in serious trouble and the failing liberal policies not only have to be stopped, but reversed.

Perry, Palin, Christie, Gulliani, Scott Walker, all the ones already in and about to get in. Hell, the first page of any phone book would be preferable to the current disaster.

LOL! This piece has nothing to do with truth. If Palin isn’t mentioned - it’s propaganda. The world knows SARAH and waiting to hear about her run or not. Yet this author doesn’t mention her? Too funny. Perry won’t be on any list of mine, if he needs to be pumped up via propaganda.

No Perry on a Palin ticket. I’m sure she will pick a fighter like she is. Wimps are a dime a dozen and are repulsive to fighters.

Too bad senator DeMint is a Romneybot and we don’t elect people like Mr. Cain who’ve never seen any government service.

Perry endorsed Rudy Giuliani. 'nuff said.

Gov. Sarah Palin? YES!

Rick Perry? NO, NO, NO!! I don’t cuss, so “heck” NO!

The Bible says you can’t mix sweet water with bitter. If she hooks up with Perry that’s what it will be like. I will not support that.

Search the threads here on FreeRepublic concerning Perry and you will find the FACTS as to why he is considered a RINO on FreeRepublic.

There, I fixed your statement by making it actually truthful.

Rick Perry is GWB with “big hair.” If you want to go forward with the North American Union, Perry’s your boy. I saw where just recently the Texas Legislature finally drove a stake in the NAFTA Superhighway that was going to cut a wide swath through Texas from south to north. Perry was one of the major supporters of that eyesore ( and Mexican people mover). So if you loved GWB, then you will love Rick Perry. Personally I’ve had it with the Bushes (they were just like the Kennedy’s, they just had less money). GWB gave us Barak Obama.

From Wikipedia

Texas Legislature

In 1984, Perry was elected to the Texas House of Representatives as a Democrat from a district (64) that included his home county of Haskell.

He served on the House Appropriations and Calendars committees during his three two-year terms in office. He befriended fellow freshman state representative Lena Guerrero of Austin, a staunch liberal Democrat who endorsed Perry's reelection bid in 2006 on personal, rather than philosophical, grounds. Perry was part of the "Pit Bulls", a group of Appropriations members who sat on the lower dais in the committee room (or "pit") who pushed for austere state budgets during the 1980s.

Perry supported Al Gore in the 1988 Democratic presidential primaries and was chairman of the Gore campaign in Texas.

In 1989, The Dallas Morning News named him one of the most effective legislators in the 71st Legislature.[citation needed] That same year, Perry announced that he was joining the Republican Party.[12

This is simple.

If Perry strong arms the Texas Senate to pass the anti-TSA molestation bill, he will be one of two things:

President of the United States.

Or

President of the Republic of Texas.

If he doesn’t, he won’t be anything but the governor of a state. Ever.
