That's the first place the cops will look with their metal detectors. If you live in a heavily wooded area the best place would be away from the house and put the guns in PVC and put them way up in a pine tree or similar heavily leafed tree. The PVC of course is camo'd.
What’s the point if they’re coming to your house to get your guns?
If people bury their firearms, what are they going to do, dig them up occasionally in the dark of night, oil them, tenderly stroke them, talk lovingly to them?
Guns are for using, not burying, If one doesn’t have the nads to resist, then by all means bury them, real deep and just forget where, for such people will never have the guts to use them anyway, ever.
So if that time ever comes, wouldn’t it be fun to bury all sorts of “metal” in your backyard.....
and watch the idiots have to dig up several “dozen” locations.....only to find trash and junk.
That would be entertaining. And of course, your real location for your “real” guns stash would be secured some place OFF of your property. They could have the cheapo ancient 32 I keep around. I doubt that once they’ve “searched” your property once like that....proving to have been a collossal waste of their time...that they would be back for a second such search.
And yes, if that time ever does come, America will be lost anyway....and it’s time to USE those weapons....not bury them.
If you own property and want to bury your guns please be sure to start burying all kinds of metal pipes, rods, or anything else you can think of. This way when they come to look they have to dig many, many, many, many, holes only to find fenceposts, steel gas pipe, and other items that they are not searching for.
They will soon tire of this and leave you alone. If everyone does it it will require millions of dollars to find them. If they leave any holes just plant a tree into them and call them you Federal Trees.
