About that Rapture (third item)
The Washington Times ^ | Jennifer Harper

“Will the world end on May 21st? No. It will not. In fact, I stake my personal reputation on it,” says Arizona psychic Blair Robertson, who has shared a few predictions about world events with Inside the Beltway in the past. “I predict that soon Harold Camping, the man who originated this idea, will experience his own ‘end of days’ very suddenly, leaving behind many angry believers.”

Predicting that a 90 year old man who looks like he’s 110 will die soon - bold psychic prognostication on her part.

As I posted on another thread, lots of “Christian” clergy are having muslims pray in their churches on Sunday. I think it would be wonderful if Christ shows up on Saturday and says “You were going to defile my house? I don’t think so!”

Nobody knows the day or hour, however, by that same token, while I don’t believe the prediction of 21May11 as the day of the Rapture is justifiable, I likewise see nothing that would preclude the Rapture occurring at that time.

The Rapture is imminent, not immediate. No Prophetic event must occur to precede that event, other than the last believer in the Church Age coming to Christ.

There was a recent ELCA meeting in Minneapolis where the decision was made to allow openly sodomist clergy. That was the one where a tornado damaged the building where the meeting took place. It would appear that Someone did not approve of the decision.

For some reason people are under the delusion that the Rapture is the event that kicks off the 7 year tribulation. For all we know the rapture could be that event or it could occur a decade before the 7 year peace treaty.

It would stand to reason that all the pro-Israel Christians would have to be removed from the Earth for such a treaty to occur. Many also believe it is the treaty which ends the Gog and Magog war which would basically destroy all the Muslim enemies of Israel, but I do not believe this

Fairly accurate description of the crypt keeper...

Just a thought, but if he really believes his stuff, why hasn't he liquidated his string of radio stations and shortwave transmitters. He could deed them to me.. ;-)

I'll make sure they are put to good use.

The 'rapture' is a security blanket that is used to deceive people. Paul in Ephesians 6 tells Christians to be prepared for a 'war' and it is NOT a 'war' of flesh and blood. And we are told to put the whole armour of God on not a security blanket.

There laid out by Christ as recorded in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 of the chronological events that will occur and nowhere does Christ say the 'church' age ends.

That’s a pretty safe bet, LOL.

Yep. Guarantee that the date will not be May 21.

Now, it could be the 22nd, or any other day, but definitely not the 21st. Just remembering that someone named Jesus weighed in on the subject about 2 millennia ago when He said "No one knows about that day or hour" (Matthew 24 and Mark 13) and I think 'no one' includes Harold...

I know some ministries that could use his radio network and since he won't need it after tomorrow ...

OMG ROFL!!! I hadn't heard about this rapture guy except from my sister telling she heard something about it on the news.

This is getting plain silly, you know what is sad? I guarantee there are kool-aid drinkers who are going out spending money, doing whatever because they are going to be raptured tomorrow.

I'm not a Biblical expert but I do recall the Scripture in the Book of Matthew where Jesus says, "No one knows but the Father." (I'm paraphrasing).

I hate when nuts like this come out, the MSM immediately repeatably try and associate all Christians with this nut!

This is the same media that was in overdrive telling us that not all Muslims were bad after 9/11! They think we are brainless lemmings! Of course not all Muslims are bad and not all Christians aren't nuts, I would say 99.9% think this "Pastor" is a lunatic simply looking to be like the guy from the Hale-Bopp Comet Cult. Somebody has to find that guys picture that makes me laugh to this day.
