If senior journalist David Goldman is right, the correct word for describing the way a growing number of US Jews feel about President Barack Obama is not 'anger' but 'rage' – white-hot rage, at that, and a conviction that they have been swindled.
Goldman, Senior Editor of First Things magazine and 'Spengler' columnist for Asia Times Online, spoke last week at a convention on intellectuals and terror at Ariel University in Samaria. In his lecture, he quoted a top Jewish campaign donor who used the word 'sociopath' to describe Obama. In an interview with Israel National News, he predicted a possibly dramatic 'train wreck' for the Democrats in the November mid-term elections, with Jewish fundraising for Democrats drying up and a possibly high turnout of anti-Obama evangelical Christians.

The large discrepancy between the two military figures (1.09 versus 0.32) may represent how many people consider themselves ethnically Jewish versus how many consider themselves actually as believing Jews.

Everyone knows that Jews served in the draft military of WWII, in fact 1 out of 3 Dentists and Doctors in the military were Jewish in WWII.
WWII with it’s massive draft where all branches drafted and the Army reached 97% draftees is definitely well known by everyone as having Jews well represented in it.
There were higher percentages of Jews in proportion to their population percentages in the US military forces in most wars than others. On contemporary participation in the armed forces, I wouldn’t join now, either. I won’t even buy enough products or services to generate much in the way of revenues for this polytheistic debt regime.

No, Jews aren’t much for military service, that is why WWII is constantly used to give the impression that they flock to the recruiters.
It’s likely that more Jews (large Sephardic community) fought the British in the American Revolution than Catholics. From the first federal census of 1790, Catholics comprised only about 6/10ths of a percent (0.6%) of the population of the thirteen original colonies (about 25,000 out of 3,939,000).

Going from Obama being President to a tiny Catholic population in 1790 is bizarre.
If we restrict the discussion to post-WW2, and particularly the Vietnam era and later, there is NOT a trend for Jews to join the military in excess to their population percent. My opinion is that a population segment which disproportionately identifies with the Left seems less likely to join a military which, after WW2, was engaged in fighting Communist and Leftist regimes.
