"I don't need to see those pictures, and no one needs to see them," Sen. Dianne Feinstein said after viewing the kill photos of Osama bin Laden on Friday.
The morning trip to the CIA headquarters in Langley, Va., capped a five-month nail-biter that began in December when Feinstein, as chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, was briefed by the CIA that bin Laden had been tracked to a compound in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
On April 30, a day before the Navy SEALs raid on the compound, the California Democrat got a classified call from CIA headquarters alerting her that the attack would soon be under way.
Late the next afternoon, as Feinstein headed to a memorial in Los Angeles for her longtime political adviser, Kam Kuwata, CIA Director and fellow Californian Leon Panetta phoned with the news that bin Laden had been killed.
Feinstein said she didn't need photo proof that he was dead, and she hadn't intended to see the pictures. But when colleagues and others continued to press her, she made the trip.
"It was not emotional at all," Feinstein said. "It is bin Laden and he is deceased."

She didn’t “need” to but did? And then proclaims the rest of us have no “need”?
It’s not about “need”.
Those pictures belong to history not Obama.
There is no national security issue involved here.
Feinstein and Pelosi got a demonstration and briefed on waterboarding and CIA interrogation and can’t seem to remember it. How traumatic (gruesome) does something need to be to be problematic for the two dumbest broads on the left coast? Photoshop a whale in place of Bin Laden and we’d have the pictures pasted all over mass transit busses and billboards.
Not to mention the fact that WE paid for it!
“I don’t need to see those pictures, and no one needs to see them...”
Wait, that doesn’t sound very pro-choice to me.
Freegards
she’s married to a billionaire,
and part of our american oligarchy.
But pictures of the caskets of our fallen soldiers, taken at Dover AFB... now those are pictures that everyone needs to see, whether they want to or not.
At least when a Republican is running the war.
By the way, where are the calls for the casket pictures to be released nowadays?
Thanks for reminding us of that, Tom. The MSM sure isn’t consistent are they? Now the AP wants to see the pics, but not to publish them. What hypocrisy. And they haven’t been giving us a daily account of what Cindy Sheehan is doing either.
Initially, I didn't doubt that bin Laden was really dead. But the more these known liars insist to us that "He is really, really REALLY dead... trust us on this", the more I smell a hoax.
To hell with the snuff pictures, I want them to release his porn collection.
“...trust us on this”
That did it for me.
I'll take the snuff pics, thank you.
Pictures of goats wearing garters and fishnets do nothing for me.
I need to see them, Diane. I PAID for the weapons. (Tip of the hat to the Gipper)
Graphic pic here of a terrorist killed by sniper, can’t be any worse than this. WARNING! GRAPHIC.http://poetry.rotten.com/failed-mission/
The liberal bitches who opposed Gitmo; indefinite detention, rendition, waterboarding, and wiretaps, get to see the pics but not the American public! What a mess of an electorate have we created with a low-class socialist and his cronies in the White House.
Just keep telling yourselves:
“Alpha’s wear grey. They work much harder than we do, because they’re so frightfully clever. I’m awfully glad I’m a Beta, because I don’t work so hard and I don’t have to claim allergies whilst looking at frightening photographs. And then we are much better than the Gammas and Deltas. I’m so glad I’m a Beta.”
Bin Laden has been promoted by the media for so long with all of his wonderful pictures. It is time to show the highest benefit of being a mass murderer - you get to have your brains blown out by US Special Forces! Show the martyrdom photo so all the jihadis can know what they are in for. The picture should be released without condition.
She also has a gun permit, but you shouldnt.
