For the record, I am not a Gingrich supporter. I did find this article interesting and it shows, once again, how the media/press has worked overtime to dupe the public. For example, I heard “on her deathbed” so often that I assumed the first Mrs. Gingrich was dead. Nope.

Boehner on Face the Nation - yes, we need to raise the debt limit (at some point), but not without dealing with the underlying problems that have led us to this point. He understands the doubts from those who say they don’t see the need to raise it.

I never thought Huckabee had a chance.

He’s viewed as a “likeable” guy and he does, indeed, have a disarming smile.

But he’s got baggage, including that criminal he let go free. This fact would follow him everywhere, disarming smile or no.

Huck knew he was riding some kind of windy loft based on his show, his ham ability, that toothy smile.

The Tea Party was not likely to go for him, he doesn’t have, or could he raise, a lot of money.

He’s got a bit of a king-maker in him now so God Bless.

Exactly, and for Newt not to back Ryan after all the hard work he has done devising and selling the plan is a disgrace,IMHO. Ryan knows what he is doing but Newt has this Ayatollah ego that his way is the only way and is short on compromise when our side is involved.

MTP, Halperin says right now the GOP nomination is Mitt Romney’s to lose, and he’s doing his best to lose it.

Premature certainly but meaningless? Not quite.
Some serious conservative banter took place and as the MSM has totally ignored the debate—it was pretty good.

Personally,I think it made Herman Cain a little more viable.

And I just heard Newt defend the individual mandate, which he describes as either buying into a plan or posting a bond. Besides being unconsitutional, Newt is offering a poor defense of his scheme or lack thereof. Newt is part of the problem, not the solution.

Let me just say that I “hear” you.

Newt’s got an amazing communication ability, something sorely lacking in pub candidates....silly, silly...as the Blue Bloods see it...being able to talk. McCain....bad, wheezy, temper barely hidden. Dole, speaks in third person...hardly inspiring. Dubya....really bad communicator...stupid laugh. Obamer...A+ on his speaking skill. Bill Clinton...felt our pain.

Success is too often based on an ability to pull the wool over the citizens’ eyes, to pee upon their feet and swear it’s acid rain.

I don’t really have a problem with his marriages, having been married four times myself. I don’t see that as a big deal with American voters nowadays though the adulterer thing....well remember Bill Clinton and “that woman”.

but the Nancy Pelosi thing is the end of the road with me. I could never trust this guy again.

finally, well I know Gregory got his call from the WH this week and he was no doubt reminded about Gingrich and the early 90 flirt with gubmint-mandated health insurance. But I didn’t know about this, I didn’t like....I don’t trust the guy.

He did well on his MTP interview, I wish him the good fight. I think he’s going more for a cabinet position than much else is my thought, so I’ll throw it out there.

I think your take on Newt’s interview is fair and accurate.

He did respond well to that racist thing, God Bless.

Like I said in another comment, I don’t trust the guy. But he’s a very good talker and he brings a deeper dimension to the campaign.

I wish him well. That was one of the toughest interviews ole Gregory has ever given though I agree with you that it was orchestrated by the WH.

Then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same LOVE, being one in spirit and purpose. Phil 2:2

The good thing about commie libs is they continue to use Bolshevik Revolution version 10.2. They goosestep the Bourgeois’ Rich against the poorletariet. How many times do we have to see the same Rich against the poor battle masking itself like something brand new? It has been used through the ages and every time it ends up poorly not only for the wealthy but the people whom the wealthy support. How about we have a truly novel revolution, a Capitalist Revolution where we champion industry and the success and find out how that would turn out. The last brief Capitalistic Revolution was at the end of WWII until around the 60s and the one before that was the Roaring 20s.

We have been brainwashed since birth to hate the rich and industry through the media and politics. Both have agendas to promote their commie utopia which always ends up in the same place of mass poverty and graves. The current politics is the Socialist Repubs against the Communist Dems, how about we try a Capitalist? They have taught us to distrust business and those who make the economic engine run. Just like the usual Communist Inquisition this week of the oil industry they used the same tired old Bolshevik clichés to promote the hatred of oil executives as the evil villain who is gouging the masses every time they fill up. Same inquisition we have seen for the Auto industry as well as the banking industry to make sure nobody notices the real reason we have an economic crisis, gummit. Makes you wonder why if there are so many wonderful communist countries around the world why don’t they just go live in one of them rather than forcing us to live in one here?

One of the first successful commie vilifications of industry was the forest industry. They successfully made people believe cutting down a tree was the same as killing a whale. Once they had the tree animated into something with a living and breathing being they could easily manipulate the people into believing it was the same as a person. Many think trees are superior to people which is a credit to their manipulative skills since it is nothing more than a plant. The solution to the killing of living breathing trees was to quit killing them and making the mill owner into an inhuman killer who needed to be put out of business. It was good to destroy him since his destruction was a benefit to the trees so the ends justified the means. Never mind his destruction represented thousands of good paying jobs or inexpensive housing, the trees were happy with his destruction. The irony of this communist message is the only ones that suffer more than the owners and workers are the trees.

The moratorium on harvesting of trees has destroyed the forests. What was once a living healthy renewable solar factory is becoming a dead and dying wasteland. There are thousands of square miles of dying forest from bug kill, draught and overgrown forests. The forests would be ten times healthier with proper management however the envirocommies won’t allow the management of these forests for fear their plan to destroy America would be exposed. If the forests were turned over to the mills not only would the mills regain their health and strength but so would the forests as they suddenly had the right amounts of sun and nourishment through proper management. The dirty little secret is most trees begin to rot from the inside after 20 years which leads to bugs, decay and disease which is where many of our off limit forests are at. This of course leads to forest fires and deaths of giant forested areas multiple times the size of clear cuts.

The Fed needs to sell the million square miles of forests they own to the lumber industry and vacationers to pay off the national debt. They then need to let the mills create management companies who would begin to rotate the forests for better heath and quality trees. After 10-15 years of this we would see forests so strong and healthy that would be brimming with wildlife like we have never seen before. These forests would have fire roads to put out fires which have raged through so many forests we have seen in the past twenty years thanks to the Sierra Commie club and their comrades. These forests would then be producing the finest timber in the world and supplying the entire planet as we would become the Saudi Arabia of timber.

We could control the production as mills would be healthy enough to retool and make the various grades and sizes required by other countries rather than shipping logs overseas. The streams would be crystal clear as the healthy trees would be filtering the water while they grew strong and tall in their 20 year cycles. Those rivers would be filled with fish thanks to taking agenda driven scientists and bureaucrats out of the equation and simply focused on the biology of the environment rather than trying to prove man is the cause of all its problems.

It is time to have a Capitalist Revolution. These are the real revolutions the world rarely sees. This Revolution would be one where we throw off the shackles of dividing rich against the poor or the young against the old or black against white but the Revolutionary idea of everybody working together. This Revolution would have the people supporting the mill owner to help manage the forest resource and taking pride in your and his part of the job. This Revolution would support the oil companies, the banks and the factory owners knowing the boat moves faster when we are all rowing the same direction. This Revolution would understand we are all in that same boat and no matter your station we all want this boat to stay floating so we all need to pull together. It is a time to stop having inquisitions trying to make the very people who are keeping the boat afloat being made into villains by those drilling holes in it. How do companies pay taxes if they aren’t allowed to make profits? This Revolution needs to expose these tactics as nothing more than ways to divide at a time we have to unite.

It is time to have a Capitalistic Revolution and remake this Country into the powerful ship it once was before the rust and corrosion set in. We need to throw off those who don’t want to row and toss them overboard. We have a resource abundant land and it is time to manage it to the best balance between conservation and production. This doesn’t mean impossible standards as ways to keep them off limits but realistic levels which balance the health of the environment with its productive output. When we bring a real Revolution to fruition we will have the most powerful and productive economy on the planet filled with good paying jobs and satisfied people doing their part in a truly revolutionary Revolution.

Pray for America

calling obama the “food stamp” president makes you a racist?

ANY criticism of Obama makes one a racist, per the liberals/Team Obama/MSM.

They have the Race Card, and they know how to use it. It made Hillary Clinton back off during the primaries. It made John McCain cower during the national.

They already have used it and will continue to do so. It will only get worse in the coming months, and next year, as the election approaches.

Wow what a find,I hope this gets out really does set the truth.

Meanwhile over on ABC/DBM moderator Christianne whatever did her best to roll SC Gov. Niki Haley but was rolled her self since Haley is 10X brighter than the ho with a sho Ahmmmm sooo pourrr.

Haley's interview should be required viewing for every pubbie wannabe or candidate as to how to handle the DBM. She did it so well.

She answered legitimate questions --What do we do about the debt ceiling? --"Haley: Balance the budget fool" with legitimate answers and ignored the rest and talked about what she wanted. She was incredibly smooth, authoritative, totally in charge a great manager of the interview and probably her state as well.

She is what we need in office all over the country and should be a model for all other pubbie wannabes.

Is it any wonder she and Palin are close buds?

True, but Newt remains an 80 percenter. Most of what he says or advocates is great. He does go off the reservation too often.

Well I thought Newt was very impressive today. Of course then we were treated to E J Dionne telling us that to criticize Detroit economics is apparently now racist because I geuss Detroit is code for motown. These people are simply unbelievable. Dionne is a real piece of trash.

I am now listening to Nickki Haley on ABC now and she's making some good points.

Your brilliance knows no bounds bray! great stuff!

I was shocked to hear, forget where now, that worldwide governments own up to 90% of the know oil reserves!

that becomes a huge problem for those of us who want energy security for the country.

That is part of of the reason zero can claim that we have only 2% of the worlds reserves since much of it is hidden in govt. ownership or where they refuse to acknowledge. The other part of course is that they lie all the time.

Recently zero has made comments that tend to suggest he will loosen up on drilling but with the regime you always have to pay attention to what they do not what they say.

My impression of Newt is that he lacks any core principles. He will go with whatever way the wind blows and he is too willing to compromise on anything. Remember him sitting with Pelosi as the Green Conservative or said he believed in manmade global warming, which we should urgently address in his infamous "debate" with John Kerry. Or his backing of DeDe Scozzafava over Hoffman. Newt is part of the Rep establishment.

Newt is also an amnesty guy who says we can't deport all of the illegals, therefore we must legalize them.
