Mike Huckabee NOT running for President

Mike Huckabee just announced on his show that he is NOT running for President.

I think this will open it up for lesser knowns like Huntsman and Pawlenty to pick up support. Not many of Huck’s supporters will go to Palin - if she runs. Watch out for Huntsman - he will be a media darling, especially since he served in Obama’s administration as ambassador to China.

Your suggestion that I am anti Palin though is assinine. I have never and would never say anything against her notwithstanding your insinuation to the contrary. In my county, I am one of the first to sign up as a vounteer to help in any way I can.

History: back during the late 60's / early 70's era, a young photographer showed up at the Baltimore Orioles clubhouse, asking to get a picture of "The Robinson brothers, Brooks and Frank".

Yes -- it's relevant. Brooks was white and Frank was black -- and Obama is both.

But he still throws like a girl -- as opposed to Brooks who was the greatest fielding third baseman in the game, and Frank who hit over 500 career home runs.

Technically that does not matter. The Fairness Doctrine no longer exists and any news or cable show, any entertainment show, any radio show can have any candidate on with no requirement for equal time for anyone else. The appearance does not count as an inkind contribution, either.

It was a joke -- FR = 'Free Republic' and JR = 'Jim Robinson'.

Which to my pun-filled mind brought up Brooks Robinson; and then FR reminded me of Frank Robinson.

Many people here display wisdom, individually and collectively -- 'The Wisdom of Crowds' and all that.

And yes, voters prefer governors.
