The Candidates...
Gary Johnson
Johnson served as governor of New Mexico from 1995 to 2002. He founded what would become one of the largest construction companies in New Mexico. He has competed in several triathlons and climbed Mount Everest.
Herman Cain
Cain is the former chief executive of Godfather's Pizza and former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City. He lost the Georgia Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat in 2004. He was recently the host of Atlanta-based radio show.
Rick Santorum
Santorum served two terms in the U.S. House and two terms in the U.S. Senate. He became the Senate's third-ranking Republican in 2001. He was defeated for reelection in 2006.
Ron Paul
Paul is serving his 11th full term in the U.S. House. Hes an obstetrician-gynecologist and was the Libertarian nominee for president in 1988. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for president in 2008
Tim Pawlenty
Pawlenty served two terms as governor of Minnesota, from 2002 to 2010. He served in the Minnesota House from 1992 until 2002. He is the son of a truck driver.
Feel like I’m watching Fox News Sunday with Chrissy and his republican GOTCHA! GOCHA! GOTCHA! questions! wtf
Sweet. That’s the lobbyist section.
“I think Paul and Johnson are on drugs right now.” LOL
These questions about drugs are irrelevant as well. The 2012 campaing isn’t going to be fought over leaglization of drugs.
LOL!
I surely didn’t but maybe someone will have the answer in a few.
LLS
Johnson wants to legalize and tax pot. Has admitted to using it. Asked how far he'd go on legalization. He whines the problem with the drug war is prohibition, not use! Advocates looking at other drugs as a "health care" issue, not law enforcement.
I don’t think Paul needs drugs. He’s loopy w/o them.
Agree! Pawlenty admitted he screwed up with Cap&Trade. I give him credit for admitting he screwed the pooch on that.
Santorum is a pretty good speaker, better than I recall him being.
Personally, I’m thrilled Milt isn’t at the debate!!!
Out of this group, I like Cain.
and the communists and george soros
I do have major respect for that Officer and Gentleman.
LLS
“One right decision does not a great president make”
I’m going to have to remember that one lmao!
I was checking out NRO to see if they were blogging from the debate. I usually visit NRO’s blogs each day but man I don’t like all the piming they’re doing for Mitch Daniels. I understood why they endorsed Romney - they felt he was the most conservative of those running who had the financial resources to compete with Obama. But now when the field isn’t even set yet why are they pimping someone who hasn’t even indicated he’s running?
Great quote along with, “how’s that working out for ya?”
Out of this group tonight he wins hands down.
yEAH, YOU MAKE A GOOD POINT...
Forget Paul....he scaires the h...l out of me.
Cain, west great.
Like Santorum too...
Paul: Economy. Obama has no clue about the business cycle.
Cain: Economy. Broken promises.
Pawlenty: Economy.
Santorum: Ignores the question. Says he can beat incumbent Dems.
Johnson: Economy. Says he has no idea why voters would trust Republicans after the Bush years but says only Republicans can fix things.
And he smokes dope too. Wow.
Well, in comparison to the incumbent -- who obviously doen't have one -- it's a clearly superior position.
