The head of the CIA admitted yesterday that there was no live video footage of the raid on Osama bin Laden's compound as further doubts emerged about the US version of events.

First I read on a UK site (Daily Mail?) that the Blackhawk had taken fire and gone down. Now Senator Feinstein is claiming that the air was hotter than expected at the compound and that caused a sudden loss of lift. I heard the chopper had been “bombed” after the raid, then the account was that it was destroyed by our troops before departure. The last I saw it was being trucked away, looking pretty darned intact!

Why?
We have many trolls here on Free Republic that insist that Obama is a legitimate Commander in Chief. So?....I have two questions:
1) If those in the military in control of the tapes consider Obama a legitimate Commander in Chief then wouldn't it be their duty to turn the tapes over to the administration?
2) If those in the highest military, and the officers involved in the raid, do NOT think he is legitimate, why haven't they sought legal and peaceful proof that he is a natural born citizen? Why haven't they peacefully and legally asked congress, the courts, and Obama himself to full resolve the question with certifiable, clear, and decisive evidence?
Forgot to say, hence no guns and no guards. They could just find another look-a-like and keep up pretenses. The Dread Pirate Roberts bit. They just need one from the same family for DNA purposes.

Ding ding ding! We have a winner! They see that the regime is setting up the Seals to take the fall in case public opinion shifts - an unarmed Osama, no permission from Pakistan to be there, etc. - and they are doing what they can to PROTECT their own.

General McCaffrey was on TV first morning after the raid and he stated that the helo came under fire.....was shot down.
Like when it “turns out” that it wasn’t Bin Laden at all, and that he had already been dead for years....

Sorry, but with all due respect for the Hillary haters here (and I’m less of one than I was on Jan. 21, 2009) there is no way she puts her hand over her mouth like that while watching (or listening to) someone in AfPak verbally relating what’s going on.
She’s watching a live video feed from a SEAL helmet cam. So is everyone else in that room.
The idea that there is no video is just Hussein trying to save his thin mommy butt.
