FLASH: White House says it is still being decided whether a photo of bin Laden death will be released.
Yes they will. If this had been Bush the photos would be demanded or he would been accused by the media of being a liar, just as Obama is.
Our side needs to stop helping Obama and let him own this as CIC. He needs to be held to the same standards that Bush was held to.
I am glad if Osama is dead, but I am not happy that people on our side are willing to give Obama a pass. They need to put the proof out there and it is up to the individual if they believe it or not. After all, there is nothing else to be done to prove it.
Let him rise to his decision. It is up to him and his administration to defend their own actions. It isn’t up to us to involve ourselves in one way or the other.
It is up to us to expect of him what he would expect of Bush or anyone else.
To be honest, if Bush would have said they got Saddams sons and provided no proof, I would have been just as skeptical.

The last part above tells me we won't be seeing a photo anytime soon.
Oh Bin Laden is crab food now, don't doubt it. What you are seeing is Hussein milking this for all it's worth. They want to keep this story in the news for as long as possible because they know it is an approval ratings winner.

Pressure will build and they will have to release it. I think that is what they want. The narrative will be that Obama did not want to release it for various reasons but were compelled to release the photos, albeit reluctantly. This will give them plausible deniability when it comes to the predictable outrage from the Muslim world.
They’ll release the photos during the next episode of The Apprentice.

There was a photo floating around earlier (and it wasn’t the night-vision picture) that looked really convincing. Maybe a fellow FReeper has it saved and can post it.
I was ok with dumping the body quickly, assuming they had lots of photographic evidence that would be released.
I’m starting to think that whoever said OBL was never involved in this whole situation/’on ice’ after dying years ago was right! I was a teacher for many years, and I’ve NEVER seen this kind of scurrying to cover some rear ends caught red handed with both hands in the cookie jar!!! And all this crap about ‘oooohh, it’s too graphic!” is crap—look no further than Hollywood for graphic pictures and movies put out EVERY DAY...in fact, most of America has become sensitized to graphic things, I know when that fake pic was released I didn’t blink twice, and I’m not hard hearted or hardened! I think the mastermind behind all of this (you just know it involves the Donald, don’t you? He was getting too close and diversions had to be made) did NOT think of the consequences of pissing off already p.o.’d Muslims around the world...

#2 HOW MUCH WILL OMOSLEM SUFFER IN THE POLLS AFTER THEY RELEASE THE PHOTO + THE “ARAB STREET” ERUPTS IN VIOLENCE + THE USA “BREEDS MORE TERRORISTS” BY OUR INSENSITIVITY? IN OTHER WORDS, WILL OMOSLEM GET BLAMED FOR INCITING THE NEXT ATTACK?
The polls + focus groups will dictate whether this photo is released.
