WASHINGTON (AP) -- The White House says the photograph of a dead Osama bin Laden is "gruesome" and that "it could be inflammatory" if released.
White House press secretary Jay Carney said the White House is mulling whether to make the photo public, but he said officials are concerned about the "sensitivity" of doing so.

It was a mission paid for by US taxpayers; on equipment paid for by US taxpayers; carried out by employees of the US government, paid for by US taxpayers.
And the last thing that went though bin Laden's mind was a bullet provided by the US taxpayers. We have a right to see what we paid for.

We also are paying for the wars - do you want to see dead and maimed American soldiers since we paid for it? I pay for beef at the grocery store but I don’t want to see the cow being killed.

Quite a stretch there. I simply am demanding verification from a credibility-challenged administration. Do you ask those kinds of questions when you're asked for your ID when writing a check or using a credit card?
