Americans tonight are united in celebration and gratitude. God bless all the brave men and women in our military and our intelligence services who contributed to carrying out the successful mission to bring Bin Laden to justice and who laid the groundwork over the years to make this victory possible. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of these brave Americans who relentlessly hunted down our enemy.
This is a victory for the American people, for the victims who were heartlessly murdered on September 11 and in Al Qaeda’s other numerous attacks, and for all the peace-loving people of the world.

It absolutely is incredulous to assert that bin Laden could live there without the explicit approval of the Pakistani government, at least in MHO. The Pakistanis are NOT our friends, and they never have been.

I understand your POV (espcially given the history of our current lying White House occupant). And I can certainly imagine it happening. I stated in a previous post that I am cynical and we may have known OBL's whereabouts for some time before "taking him down".
On the other hand, I could go along with the possibility of the scenario you put forth. But only if something was communicated -- via back-channels-- for OBL to remain out of sight at least through 2012 elections. LOL. How is that for cynical!

The idea is not to allow his grave to become a shrine. And according to Islamic law, the corpse should be buried before sundown the next day. I have no problem with that.
I am sure that plenty of additional evidence will be provided including pictures and documents. Obama's wife was killed along with one of his sons. I doubt those bodies were buried at sea.
That photo has been kicking around since last fall. I can’t believe the nets are running with it.

If OBL pops up this week with a new video, then your's and my wife's suspicions will have been well founded and Barry will be the world's biggest fool.
Last night my wife, who works with a muslim, both learned about the hurried burial at sea at the same time. They both instantly came to the conclusion that something STANK HEAVILY about that, especially since the hit came so (questionably) recently.
This is not something that can be dismissed lightly and those running around FR and the media blowing sunshine are going to have to reconcile their optimism with the lack of objective, measurable evidence in this case.
The way I see it, a lack of questions is what gave us Obama.
In this case I question why the last video of bin laden was several years ago.
I am sure that our military and intelligence agencies verified that Obama was killed. And I am also sure more evidence will be provided in the upcoming days. I don’t trust or like Obama, but to posit that some conspiracy surrounds this action is nuts.
That said, Obama said he had been basically sitting on the info since last August.
I wonder if Eric Holder is shedding tears somewhere because the Navy Seal team didn’t give him a chance to try Osama in a court of law.
I understand that info for Osama’s hiding place was procured from Gitmo detainees. Does that mean Waterboarding works? Good thing Obama didn’t close Gitmo down after all even though he signed orders to do so!

There is no official death photo of OBL at this point. People on here were wrong about Obama’s birth country and they are wrong again about this attack. I am calm it is the conspiracy theorists on this site who are buzzing around the hornets nest.
I disagree with Mr. Obama on most if not all his beliefs and policies but, I do think OBL is dead, if he is not there will be a rebuttal video coming out soon. Unless you subscribe to the nearly “911 truth/moon landing fake” level of conspiracy theory and OBL is in league with BHO an is lying low to help him..

If you question this, your questioning JSOC, which is the best the military and intelligence community has to offer. Quite frankly, you can stuff your questions where the sun don’t shine. We spent a decade, bleeding more than you can imagine, to put that vermin down. If you don’t like it, at least have the decency to go find a service member and spit in their face personally. You have no idea what we went through to find this bastard, and you should hang your head in shame for the dishonor you imply upon the entire special operations community.
