Geraldo just announced Obama will make some sort of statement in 30 minutes. Geraldo says this is unusually late and figures it has something to do with Libya.
I think he was already dead and this was staged for political reasons.
It is no surprise to me that this news comes on the same day as the beautification of Blessed John Paul II to try and give Obama attention

That's what this is about. Bin Laden might be dead. It could have happened days or weeks ago. I doubt this happened today.

However, it was most important to announce it in a way that preempted the last 15 minutes of Trump's show. That was the "national security" matter.
I'm just amazed that they managed to do it without rolling out the teleprompters at 10:45.
They managed to preserve "plausible deniability" and NBC fell for the bait. I truly didn't expect NBC to interrupt unless TOTUS was rolling and Obama was reading to the cameras.

Like I said in my longer comment, that the President of the US would do something this teeny tiny scares me more of him than I ever was worried about the sick and dying Bin Laden.
Maybe they’re delaying because they’re going to show pictures of the body and it’s even more ghastly than when he was alive?
